I think you should've used ancient debris. Even though honeycomb blocks don't have a tool that breaks them the fastest, they are effected by efficiency. Ancient debris still takes longer to break with an efficiency 5 pickaxe than a honeycomb with no efficiency and is blast resistant and can also be pushed by pistons like honeycomb and unlike obsidian. Still a great trap though, sad it didn't work.

The trap has one fatal flaw: teleportation. A stacis chamber can get the trapped player out with ease. Also, throwing an ender pearl the right way from the inside can get the trapped player stuck in a single place from where they can break themselves fully out.

That animation was very unexpected! The smoke and everything was perfect, seeing the ender pearl soar through the air and the boat turn around and place was absolute amazing. Why haven't I subbed yet??
