This is not by any means a max cushion shoe. Its 24mm in the forefoot. You need at least another 10mm to call it maxi
Try the superblast if you want something beefy that doesnt bottom out. It also lasts forever. Its pretty bouncy and not super soft. Its probably the most loved max cush shoe -
You should try out their new FuelCell PVLSE V1. They look exactly the same as a Rebel V4 but with a 20mm stack. It's fun and fast.

I only started running in high stack shoes once I got my mileage to levels that required more protection from the pavement. But then the high stack weakened my foot and caused (some) pain. So I'm forced to mix them with at least a day in the week with minimal shoe to balance things out.
This thing look great for long runs. I wouldn't use it daily because it will cause my feet to act up. Just for one day a week to lessen the impact. If I didn't have so many other shoes I would've buy these. -
Rebel v4 is great! I'm don't love max cushion but I feel like it's here to stay. It's a fad the same way the internet was a fad 😂. However I do think they will make tremendous improvements on high stack shoes so they're more stable, better fitting, and "natural feeling"

Firm? This is one of the softest shoes on the market in terms of modern daily trainers...
