The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe ($33,950 USD starting, $40,999 CAD starting) is all new for 2024 and has a boxy design which aims to provide lots of interior space and exterior style. A hybrid option is coming soon, but for now the powerplant is a 2.5 L turbo 4 cylinder with 277 horsepower and 311 lb ft of torque. But how is it as a daily driver? And how does it compare to the competition? Thomas and James are excited to spend some time with the new Santa Fe. We hope you enjoy the episode! And then subscribe, silly.

" It's bisectional" lost it 😅😅😂 thanks guys

Wife and I picked up a Bronze Matte Limited AWD this past week. I'll never not call it a bisectional center console after this video.

My wife got one in early February and its been a great vehicle. I let a couple of Mercedes engineers crawl over it (I live near their Alabama plant) and they were quite impressed with what Hyundai has done.

This looks like the Ford Flex. I always knew the Flex was ahead of its time

04:10 Finally a car not running on 22-24" wheels, give those chunky tyres with normal sized wheels some love people, they ride NICE
  • please don't ever remove the i8 helmet clip from the intro... it gets me every single time... i love this so much!

I think it looks nicer in real life than photos. Saw it in white in calligraphy and think it looks fresh.

I picked up a Calligraphy in green this weekend. I quite like how it looks. But I'm coming from a Ford Flex, so boxy is the name of the game.
  • Y’all really are the benchmark for car reviews. I could care less about a Hyundai SUV but I just watched the whole video because you guys made it. Doing something right
  • My wife got the Kia Sorrento, this one’s brother/sister/cousin and it’s very very nice. Got the X line with the baseball glove interior and it looks great. It has what I can only describe as Lamborghini wheels which also look great. Hyundai and Kia really are killing it in the suburban grocery getter upscale yet affordable market.

A car I would have never have had a second thought about without a Throttle House video of it. I'll be honest, as a dad with the potential to have more than 1 child in the future this seems like a super reasonably priced 3 row seating SUV. It might not necessarily be the greatest looking vehicle ever but in my opinion it looks way nicer and more expensive than the previous Santa Fe models. Looking at it I'd have had no idea it was a Hyundai having never seen it before. Love the channel, definitely gives off OG Top Gear vibes, and love what ya'll are doing. Came for the Lotus content, stayed for the humor, entertainment, and excellent car content!

As a dad with small children I fully endorse the consistent bad dad joke level humor

It's hilarious that all your SoCal videos take place around where I grew up and hung out forever. Warms my heart to see the old stomping grounds.

The improvement that Hyundai and Kia have made to their brand and quality of their vehicles in the past 20 years is mind blowing.

don't have the bell icon turned on for anyone else but these dudes. reminiscent of top gear. watching their videos not for the car, but for the camaraderie of these two.
  • @mcgreat
You both have the best and most accurate pronunciation of Hyundai of all reviewers. Way to goooooo!!!!
  • every video is so solid from you guys. always excited to see new content, making anyand every car feel intriguing
