Tanks, like aircraft, have their own indelible moments in military history that captivate and inspire. Our Ultimate Tank Compilation brings together four unforgettable chapters of armored warfare, all currently unfolding on the Ukrainian frontlines.

In the spring of 2022, as Ukraine’s tank reserves were depleted by relentless attacks, the T-84 Oplot made a dramatic comeback. After two decades of waiting, this formidable machine emerged from obscurity, its impenetrable armor and advanced systems transforming it into a crucial force in Ukraine's desperate fight against overwhelming odds.

As Operation Desert Storm raged on, the French AMX-10 RC, initially designed for reconnaissance, faced its own trial by fire. Speeding across the desert at over 80 kilometers per hour, these armored vehicles unleashed their firepower with precision, obliterating enemy forces without a single scratch. Now, these legendary tanks have been spotted once again on the frontlines of Ukraine, continuing their storied legacy.

The British Challenger 2, a pinnacle of military engineering with its powerful 120-millimeter gun, found itself in an unexpected dilemma in Ukraine during late summer 2023. Amidst the chaos of battle, a hidden mine immobilized this renowned tank, putting its impressive record and the skills of its Ukrainian operators to the ultimate test.

Meanwhile, the Polish PT-91 Twardy, an upgraded version of the Soviet T-72, stands as a testament to Poland’s resilience and ingenuity. Developed during the final days of the USSR, this advanced tank now faces the remnants of the regime it was designed to confront, highlighting the ironies of modern warfare.

The important thing about challenger2 isn't it's resilience, but the fact there's a VERY good chance that the crew will walk away!

Again & again. Necessity is the mother of invention. It's a miracle that Ukrainian logistics can supply the hodgepodge of equipment.

I was a track mechanic, and I can say going 45 mph in a tank is kind of hairy.

The formidable force of 5 tanks that are going to win the war... If ever...

The AMX-10RC is perfectly suited to the WWII era tank destroyer role. It seems like it's a relevant concept once again.

No one is showing the top notched inflatable t72s😂😂

Production of Challenger 2 tanks ended in 2002, with close to 440 vehicles produced. Extremely effective as a demolition round and in anti-personnel roles.
  • The Ukrainian's are having luck with the Bradley's. They attack T-90s in teams of two and use their 25MMs to shoot all of the optic, countermeasure and everything else off the top of the tank, blinding it. Then they hit it hard with either armor piercing 25MM until they penetrate something vital or TOW. All this while the Bradley's use their maneuverability to scoot around from cover to cover. There is drone video of one of the battles.
  • Loved the comprehensive look at armored vehicles being used by the Ukraine. Very interesting information.
  • Tank vs tank is very rare in the Ukrainian war, if it is used for infantry attack or artillery, the old one is also suitable. Even the most modern ones burn well because of the drones.

Hit a mine and was immobilised... Not destroyed... it took upto 10 hits from various AT weapons to actually make it unusable. It was NOT destroyed.

I red somewhere that the Ukrainians said that the AMX-10 was useless, as soon as any kind of explosive was used near it, the shrapnel would shred the tires and the vehicle was stranded. It was just too fragile to go toe to toe with any tank because of the tires.

The problem with T-84 Oplat, only a small number have been produced even smaller than the number of Russia's T-14 Armata.

You need to screen your stock footage better. Multiple instances of the wrong type of vehicle being shown and training footage (sometimes of other militaries) inserted when speaking of actual combat operations.
  • The ACR is a tank hunter in the classic style of a Hellcat. Fast light and well armed. You engage from a nice hull down position and then run like hell

The French love their variable suspension, like the old Citroens. Long-range firepower of the Challenger. The Ukrainian Bradley operators, when up against a ruzzian T90, knew what to do. A "Diamond Beast", a sniper weapon, but not infallible. Battle action is how research is done.
