  • Dayum. I love the way Blake speaks in the first person. It tells me that he isn't just playing a character, he's identifying with and connecting with that character. And that adds depth and power to his portrayal. Plus it's extra meaningful how he's describing animated scenes in the first person, "...I'm looking up at the mech...", it shows how deeply invested he is. And it shows, the acting in these clips is AMAZING! I really hope PGI can get some BIG advertising on board with this. This kind of polish and attention to detail is what takes a game from A to AAA, and the whole world deserves to know that THE CHILDREN OF KERENSKY HAVE RETURNED!

I am so looking forward to this. I can't wait to rampage across the Draconis Combine for the glory of Clan Smoke Jaguar.

"We were made for this." Literally, in this case.
  • @wicoli
"I want the fans to like him" He's a Smoke Jaguar. The Smoke Jags are not to be liked they are to be feared, maybe hated. But, I'm impressed with the way he is talking about him.

Ahh, with every video we get, the more excited I am! MW2 was my first video game, so childhood is coming full circle.

I don't know why but I keep imagining Sergeant Hartman in his place. "Do you like donuts, mechwarrior?"

Starbuck, what do you hear? Nothing but the rain

Great cast and perfect match for that role if you ask me. His voice catches attention immediately as you'd expect from a kit commander. Really excited to see more once the game is out.
  • @Rawsilver
This is definitely making me interested in the story. I really hope the rest of the game is as polished.

PGI is cooking good heavy atmosphere of the story
  • @KerenskyTheRed
It's great to see him talk about his character as if he is him. The production quality of these scenes is so good!

If we don't get a movie after this game Hollywood is doomed. This can be better than Dune.

Battletech, doing war between the stars better than Star Wars.
  • He is a Starcolonel, a rank underneath the Galaxy Commander, with a Bloodname (family name) Ismiril. The Golden Ray going up indicates it on his insignia. Clans do not have family names, expect the top 25 Warriors of a Bloodname. He is called Kit Commander in functionality, since he is watching over those cadets. They are basically all his children, nephews or nieces. With a Bloodname, your Genetic code will be used in the Lab to produce more Warriors. There is no Gender requirement, since clans are a highly developed society. You can use eggs with the genetic code of two males or women, even from a surviving limb and so on. The strongest will reproduce artificially and as a result, there is an extreme evolution going on with the clan Mechwarriors in regard to intelligence, tactics, skills and so on.
