The Yo-kai Watch Movie is Really Weird!

A core memory I have is waking up at 3 am to watch this while on holidays

Funny enough The Japanese version of the movie actually kept Gera Gera Po with a whole new rendition and it was amazing. Its too bad they got rid of it for swampy marsh.

omg i remember me and my brother following all the trailers and news for this film all the time, we were so excited for its release, and when it was finally released, we watched it together and had the time of our lives. felt like only yesterday. time flies, and you don't believe it until you experience it firsthand, holy wow...

The movie honestly feels like a 2000s movie like the pokemon and yu gi oh movie just a simple story and having a good time for the fans of the show. Even the trailers for the dub feels like a early 2000 movie sadly I haven’t seen the dub in theaters but I did watch the movie in Japan in YouTube then later on watched it on Disney XD what a classic movie

When I was a lot younger (5th grade) this movie, although not the best, was the most impactful to me. I rewatched it more times than I can count. Each time made me cry. I think that was mostly because of the credits at the end.

2:39 On the topic of the attempt on Jibanyan, they really should have considered how Jibanyan would react once realizing that the true reason he got hit by the truck was because Amy, his former owner that he cared for a lot, was going to get hit if he hadn’t. Whisper was convinced to try and save his old human friend, but thankfully, Whisper’s friend chose to not blame him for basically saying nonsense, and decided that if was going to face near impossible odds, he wanted to at least go down in a fair fight. I’m guessing after realizing that trying to get Nate or his two best Yo-Kai friends to change the flow of time wasn’t going to work, they decided to directly target the Yo-Kai Watch instead, as a last ditch effort to get Nate and his Yo-Kai pals out of the picture, which thankfully for the story, Hovernyan restored their memories.

This was a really great video! I remember watching the movie when I was younger here on yt lmao, however I began to think that I just made it up, but I just remember loving every bit of it as the huge Yo-Kai Watch fan that I was. It’s a shame how much the series is forgotten about nowadays, but thank you for reminding me of these memories!

Yokai Watch is still one of my favorite game franchises of all time, Yokai Watch 3 being one of my favorite games of all time.

I remember I got to see it on tv and I was so happy to because I used to love Yo Kai watch so much and I had a bunch of medallions and a watch but always wanted the games on my Nintendo but never did get them

Love this movie I got it on dvd so I still watch pretty often since the animation is nice and the sound quality is great

Fun fact: Youkai Watch has another English dub that aired on Cartoon Network, they dubbed the movies 1 and 2 as well.

I did not know this movie came out in 2015 because well it was on Netflix and Disney XD finally released yo-kai watch.... Oh my God I remember loving this movie. Are the ones small issue is the lovely little fox that can't get one single heart that's a small continuity errors since I'm pretty sure their episode didn't come out yet.
