Man, I still wish I had all my comics. I think in Eerie or Creepy magazine they had this story. Some old guy happens to accidentally get supernatural powers. Merlin in the past somehow screwed up a spell and his powers left him. A guy from our future finds he has powers like going through walls. He decides to rob a bank. He enters the bank after closing. He goes through the banks metal vault door. Merlin is back in his time and conjures up a spell to get his powers back. At the time he gets his powers back the guy robbing the bank is going out through the banks metal vault door. His body is half in the metal door. That's how the bank employees find him the next morning. Dead of course. I see many movies these days from comics I read 40 years ago.
