Sorry it took so long for a new video! Been dealing with a lot of personal stuff behind the scenes, and as you can probably tell by my voice, I've been sick with the flu. I’m just happy to be back to creating again, and I have lots of new content coming very soon!
  • @brandon13752
What's even sadder about the balloon priest is he was genuinely a good man. He exposed a bunch of human rights violations committed against homeless people by his local government. His exposé led to several arrests
  • @AllPurposeWater
there’s something darkly comedic about the radio guy commentating the fire without changing his cadence or tone just like it was part of the game
  • @MalenkyGoblin
A sad epilogue to Cara Knott's story is her father died of a heart attack while taking care of the memorial garden he had built at the site where her body was dumped by Craig Peyer.
  • I find the balloon story absolutely harrowing. Imagine being in the clouds with no idea where you are not knowing how to use the provided gps, then once you are able to see the ground again, you realize you’re over the damn ocean. Absolutely terrifying…
  • @scoobstopb
The idea of not being able to see the ground is terrifying but when you finally see the ground, but it's all ocean as far as you can see? That is one of the worst things I've ever heard.

I remember when it was reported that an elderly couple had died in the Bradford City fire, burnt to death clutching each other whilst still sat in their seats. An absolutely awful tragedy.

Nick’s increasing familiarity with Brazilian television is very encouraging. A huge number of foreign dark TV and media moments are never reported by Anglophone youtube, and I’m glad Nick is actually looking

My brother was supposed to be at Valley Parade for the Bradford match that day. But he was really adamant he didn't want to go, which seemed out of the ordinary. My parents and brothers ended up listening to the coverage of the match and subsequently the fire on the radio. It's something that still freaks my mum out to this day.

Thats very surprising the guy from the Niagara Falls segment survived. The way you presented it was brilliant, it looked like a tragic “did the unthinkable but failed due to a catch” and had me so anxious but them the 2 rescue workers saved the day and was the biggest sigh of relief.
  • Imagine you’re on the edge of Niagara Falls and a man named Moriarty shows up. Now that’s a detail no one was expecting.
  • The rescue at Niagara Falls was incredible. I was so worried about what was going to happen, it’s incredible they pulled it off.
  • As they say, regulations are written in blood. If you think a rule or policy is "stupid" or "farfetched", you obviously don't know the history behind it.

i’m a forensics minor and in one of my classes last year we did a case study on the Bradford fire. Our class watched the entirety of the video documenting the fire’s progression, and lemme tell you the sheer SPEED at which the fire intensified is something I will NEVER unsee. I often compare it to the King’s Cross Station fire, which occurred in London 2 years after the Bradford fire and cost 31 people their lives. Ironically, it was found to have been caused by a carelessly-tossed lit match (likely from someone lighting a cigarette) that fell into the escalators and ignited the wooden materials, further fed by the flammable debris underneath. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it really highlighted just how avoidable both this disaster and the King’s Cross fire were, but also how many lives have been saved since then following the enactment of stricter building protocols.
  • I'm Brazilian and I follow the channel regularly. I think Nicky has a lot of talent for telling stories and always brings very convenient data to help us understand the facts. I keep thinking about many absurd stories that were televised here in Brazil that would make great videos for the channel, like "Latininho no DomingĂŁo do FaustĂŁo", the baby who died live on the program "O Povo na TV", the soap opera starring Daniela Perez, "De Corpo e Alma" among other shocking events.
  • I went to Niagara Falls on a Monday evening in late November of 2015. I got there about 5:15, and was at first disappointed to find the parking lots empty, leading me to think it was closed. The guy in the parking booth just waved me through to the empty lot, assuring me it was ok to park however I wanted so I could get out. (I was towing an empty 30 foot boat trailer.) I park across a row of spaces and get out and he approaches and tells me "dude, just go in. Enjoy the view. You got about 2 and a half hours." I walked in, took the quick stroll through one of the gardens, and found my way to the observation deck. And I would have been completely alone up there, if there hadnt been a younger couple smooching on the deck. I was lucky enough to hit one of the biggest tourist attractions in America, and have it all to myself. No masses. No tourists. No kids. And 100% free

That cop being in the actual video of how to avoid roadside strangers is the perfect definition of dry snitching.
  • @sarasitic
The absolute audacity of Officer Peyer. It's no surprise to hear of a police officer abusing his power, but it's another beast entirely to insert yourself back into the horrible situation YOU created like he did. I'm sure he enjoyed the attention and totally thought he'd get away with it. Psycho.

This was a really good video. Very in depth and very clear narrating without talking to much with music in the background. Especially having actual video footage of everything. Very well done, now i have to watch the first 3 im hooked. You gained a new subscriber.
