As we aspire to grow, we're looking at getting larger snow equipment for site management. I was specifically looking at the larger wheel loaders, sectionals, and ice management equipment at this show.

What’s your guys most exciting thing from the SIMA show that you guys enjoyed seeing?

I think a good fit for your next step would be a small under 74 hp tractor. Better road speed and maneuverability. A John Deere 4066 with a metal pless 7-11-32. Based off of your comment on commercial site size and ability to road it. A compact loader would bit over kill and have a large price tag attached to it. A tractor would be a better starting point. We have a couple videos up showing the setup that would benefit you more at this stage in business.

Brian, wheel loaders are great, but they can't salt, consider buying a 5 or 6 series tractor and put the hilltip tractor Salter on the back, now 1 operator can plow with a 9-15 or 10-16 plow and salt with a 2 yard Salter immediately after and still have 25+mph road speed between sites for same or less money, and one less operator and one less salt truck chasing, I have two of these in my fleet if you'd like to see more

The first time I plowed with a loader I was hooked. Get one with a two speed that goes faster to travel between sites

If you don’t plan on using the loader during the 8-9 months of the landscape season I can’t justify buying one for 3 months when you have trucks that can do the same job

Metal pless snow wing pusher a 10ft you could clear a bunch of smaller accounts in a route and ice B gone treated salt would be my preference

I run all Fisher plow products for my snowplowing business definitely the best for my company and looking to purchase case equipment as I grow my business for larger plowing accounts
