This is the #1 golf swing key that gets you playing great golf. Keep your weight forward in the golf swing and don't shift it back. When you do this, ball striking is consistent and powerful. Many golfers are told to shift their weight in the golf swing, but this causes inconsistent contact with the golf ball. Professional golfers keep their weight forward because it allows them to control their contact point every time, When you master this skill you will play great golf. That's why keeping your weight forward is one of the best golf tips for any golfer - it's the #1 fundamental to playing great golf.

Tom, I have been playing golf for 50 years and never have I enjoyed it more than I did yesterday. Been shooting in the mid to high 80’s for years but after watching as many of your lessons as I can find on YouTube I shot 76. You really explained the swing well and I find it works just as you said. Thank you.

im 70 and have played for 40 years...mostly poorly...lessons new clubs etc...dont know whether to Hate you or Love You! Som-b*tch you are the First One Ive Ever Watched that makes sense and can make this fun again! and Ive had spine and shoulder surgery!

Fairly new golfer here. No one out there explains the golf swing more easily than Tom. I've been building and adjusting my swing one detail at a time with your videos. Broke 100 this year and just shot a 91 last weekend. Hoping to break 90 before the end of the year. Thank you Tom, greetings from Arizona!

I've been enrolled in Tom's online course for a few months. I went to the driving range today keeping my weight forward , while only turning my shoulders and arms. I've never been more happy with my distance and hitting the ball very straight or just a baby draw. It seemed really easy today. I did put the work in to get my set-up correct, grip, posture, hands and arm position, along the other things that build a great set-up. Once you get the set-up down, you start improving a lot then. When you put all the things you learned in the course together after some practice, it will enable you to play as good as you want. After the course, which I continue to watch over and over, it will depend on how much time you can put in improving these learned skills. The course covers it all.

I FEEL SORRY FOR TAKING NO ONES MONEY on the golf course, who had access to this Intel and did NOT take advantage of it because they are too stubborn to try something"new"! Thanks Tom Im up thousands since I revamped my stupid weight shift I was taught when I was 17! 💪🙏👊💯

Tom, I am sure you will get some push back on this BUT not from me. No matter what swing system I’ve learned I keep coming back to this stack & tilt method that produces better (not necessarily perfect) results for me. And if I forget to move further forward, that’s seems to be okay as long I rotate around my left leg (which is easy to do because I’m on my left side already). This video is an important one and a keeper.

This HAS to be the BEST lesson. A previous video talk about weight forward which I adopted and it transformed my game big time. The sound of club on ball is just orchestral!! Thank you Tom. 👏🏼 Golfer in 🇬🇧

Tried this today on the range impact improved substantially as well as accuracy and distance, fantastic advice. Didn't need a lot of swing thoughts just concentrated on keeping weight forward not moving the head off the ball shoulder under chin. So much easier than the 100 things I was trying to do at once that don't work before I can just enjoy playing
  • @russquick7899
I know your program emphasizes this coach but I can't get enough of this emphasis. You're the best and you make it fun. Stay well-Russ
  • @BSoloe
Can't thank you enough for this tip. I watched a video where you talked about this a while back and not only has it helped me, but a lot of my friends as well.

Thank you Tom for this lesson, it has changed my game like crazy. Last round was an 84, then I tried your stack and tilt method, and first time out, I shot a 73! Can I say that again…a 73!!!!! At 66 years old I drove the ball into a green side bunker on a 305 yd par four hole. My head stays centered for the first time in 55 years of playing this crazy game. I actually gained distance on all clubs due to much better contact in the center of the face. I can’t wait to get out and try it again. Now I just have to shoot my age😂.Thank you so much for making this video
  • Your are the best! Taking the complexity out of the golf swing is so very helpful. Thanks so much.
  • @joshuarivas985
Tom! I’ve been struggling with my irons so bad, I felt like I couldn’t hit them at all and it really got in my head. This video was my breakthrough and I literally shaved 11 strokes off of what I’ve been shooting recently. Unbelievable. Thanks so much for your lessons, the best YouTube golf instructor bar none!
  • @richardface8664
You are a good teacher. You make good points and explain things very well. I'm excited to golf again!
  • @toddwmac
Thanks Tom....great stuff as always. I've learned so much from you over the years. One thing I also noticed in applying this technique is the value of opening the left foot, I'm amazed by how many players and pros square up to the ball and force that rotation. That few degrees makes a ton of difference to help me open my hips open. Thanks for all your great content and looking forward for the Saguto Traveling Teaching Tour here out West one day! Keep it crispy!
  • @petewheat
I’ve improved so much thanks to you Tom. So many great tips, but this one has been the biggest factor getting my scores lower. Thank you so much!
  • @adamsmith5262
This makes sooo much sense I noticed this in your recent video on the driver mistake lesson. I see how you place your weight to the lead leg and you pivot around that.
  • @daleal7250
After multiple decades of golf I’ve come to realize that I and likely most other golfers just aren’t athletic enough shift weight and consistently strike the ball first. I have tried over and over again. I can do it about half the time in practice and rarely ever on the course. Keeping my weight on the front foot is the only way for me. Tom’s channel has been a big help.
