The talking/TEACHING is necessary!!! Golf is 90% mental. Those of you who despise her teachings are likely making your game 90% physical, which is why you want to SEE her take shots so you can mimic her. Then when you screw shots on the course you’ll never know 1) WHY you screwed the shot or 2) How to fix it. Thank you Carolin for the talking/teaching!🫡

Your one comment "Pick your landing spot first and not pick your club first." really hit home with me. Big time! For decades I've always picked my club first and try to make the club perform the way I want it to. Picking the landing spot first makes perfect sense for so many reasons and I'm embarrassed I never looked at chipping that way. I have an entirely new perspective on how to execute chip shots now and I can't wait to get to the chipping green and practice this new concept (new for me that is). Thank you!
  • Cool, easy to understand. Like the “lifting the club to stop chunking”

Very helpful tips, Carolin! Can’t wait to try at the chipping green. I couldn’t see the ball land/roll from the angle the camera was positioned. Perhaps an additional camera placed at the opposite end, could help your followers see the entire shot—from the strike to the ball coming to a stop by the pin.

    Awesome advice! Thank you!!!!

Thankyou, excellent drill! Can’t wait to try it!
  • The BEST ADVICE is focusing on the landing spot. I also use a putting stroke with a 7 iron, very effective for holing chips.
  • Appreciate the tips. Good to know about the landing spot picked, then the club.
  • Her set up comments regarding landing spot and club selection is spot on. Pay attention folks!

Yes, last weekend I did your chip putts with my putter and it worked. So then I used my 7 and 9 irons around the green and they worked too. Then I see this video and there you were. You’re helping me a lot. Thank you.
