When I sold my first company Spheric in 2008, I was EVERY role.

I was the bookkeeper, chief engineer, project lead, and my own personal assistant.

I thought the more I worked, the more productive my business would be right?

    Great points, Dan! 1. Pick the right business model. 2. Clone yourself. Focus on tasks that generate new revenue. 3. Set up a system for the process involved in the delivery of the product/service. 4. Lead generation (e.g. leverage social media for distribution of your message). Pay, publish content speaking to the pain of your customers, public relations, and partnerships with people who have existing audiences. 5. Scale your sales: calls and follow-up. 6. Leadership, which is all about collaborating with other people. Give others ownership, at a minimum profit sharing.
