8 More Things Geometry Dash Needs URGENTLY

Published 2024-06-04
I got so tired making this lmao

The official part two to the original video (linked below) which explains eight more ideas that would make Geometry Dash a better game overall (in my opinion, at least).

PART ONE:
   • 11 Things Geometry Dash SERIOUSLY Needs

Sorry this video took so long. To be honest I made this whole thing in only a few hours and the reason it took me so long was because the script took me about a week to write due to appointments and other shit.

I was also working on my entry for the NCS gauntlet challenge, hosted by RobTop, which is still in layout mode.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video! I worked really hard on it, especially the script and some of the planning.

4:50 one of the reasons demons give the same star amount is the fact that once a thing is rated demon players are allowed to change the demon to any demon difficulty they want (with enough rates) and it would be kinda weird if you just lost stars from your account because the demon got changed from extreme to hard

Tbh, I like half of these, and hate the others.

If more demon difficulties were added, it would mess up everybody’s stars

about the custom objects: i think that this idea seems good on paper, but it seems like it would rob creators of individuality and creativity. it should take time and effort to make these effects, as it would develop your skills as a creator.

This is really good for such a small channel, I subscribed

I would find it a good option to have a menu to change the jump keys. (space bar, the w key , the up key or things of the mouse) Having to use other methods to change that key or buying a new mouse or keyboard is more complicated than just changing the jump key. Hopefully in 2.21 or 2.3 we will have something similar.

2:08 I just use the gradient trigger (that uses an invisible color id and set to be at the max layer), and 2 color triggers (that make the color id that the gradient trigger uses turn black and then become transparent again) to make transitions.

Adding more difficulties would be too complex tbh. we should add like tiers for every difficulty. so like nightmare would be tier 1 easy demon and decode tier 4 or 3

Not gonna lie, 400 friends is more than enough because you will one day realise that out of those 400 only about 10 actually care to search up your username in the slightest☠

I've mentioned this a few times in other places, but there's a big reason why having different start counts for other demon difficulties wouldn't work with the current system, because it's we, players, who vote on the level difficulty and have an actual influence over how it's displayed in the levels list. In order to make this a reasonable addition, we'd have to make demon difficulty ratings available only for RobTop, and maybe like elder mods at the very most, but having one person decide a difficulty wouldn't be the greatest way, because different skillsets exist and something difficult can be easy for the other person. If it was implemented the way it is right now, people would most likely be inflating the demon difficulties in order to arbitrarily increase the star count, and that'd just create a big mess, and setting a star count at the start wouldn't work either, because difficulties are subjective to some extent. What if I give a medium demon 11 stars, and then after some times it gets moved to easy or hard demon instead? That's the issue with this idea.

Just a tip for your vids, add more b role, it will take longer to edit but it’ll be easier for people to watch. Other then that, loved the video!

Here's another great idea, Adding icons to your levels without having to use reference image to build them
  • @Orion371
bro you can have 400 friends in GD!?!? you can only have 200 in roblox🤬
  • @ZeffeWasTaken
About the new star difficulty - what if you beat a level right as it gets rated before it’s switched to the right difficulty so you get the amount of stars a hard demon has for beating an easy demon
  • @STG24
5:26 I don't agree at all because all demons are rated as hard demons (I think Rob can decide wich specific demon difficulty is from the start, and moderators can change it if is necessary) but I agree with giving more stars, maybe separating the insane and extreme demons from the rest, they'll be searched like we already search (with the demon filter) but they would give 15 stars/moons (separating them from the rest would be necessary because people say that the most difficult insane demons are similar to the easiest extremes, also I forgot the name but the hardest insane demon was extreme demon once, AND IWBTG was extreme demon once too), and Rob would only add something between the hard and insane demons (harder demon?) to compensate it, and something above extreme demon (named "Ultra Extreme Demon" or something like that) that gives 20 stars/moons for those extreme demons that are very complicated

why is this channel so underrated and mine also😭😭😭😭😭 btw you make good content and we both are in same age 12 so your editing is nice
  • @IQGeoDash
You guys know Rob, he'll take, like, 15 years to develop all this
