The best way and the most rewarding way to fish, the only bad thing is going to bed and still seeing the float when your eyes are shut lol

Haven't fished for 30 years but this video has filled me with enthusiasm to start again. Many thanks.

Wow! This is the most instructive video ever! Here’s me an 83 year old grandad, doesn’t have a clue and about to show the grandson how to fish when we go on holiday on a canal boat! But this video has explained it all. Luckily the man in the shop told me what I needed! And sure enough you are showing me how to set it up! I just hope my thick fingers and thumbs will be okay to tie the knots? Thank you!

These are small floats youtube.com/post/Ugkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq… recommend the package is smaller than my hand just to provide perspective. That said I wanted small floats for the times I need to add one when trout fishing or fishing for panfish. The peg is perfect for my application where I want a set hold point that is quickly adjustable and want to be able to add the float without retying. That’s the real advantage here. You can add this float to your line without retying and adjust the depth easily with the peg so it won’t kink your line like a traditionalit. If I need to set this too deep then I’d switch over to ait with a thread stop to make casting easier. But like I said, these are a great value for the price I paid. Probably better suited to applications where your depth is 5-feet or less for the sake of casting.
  • Been float fishing for many years, but this video was a great refresher and reminded me of a few forgotten tricks 👍

you guys are amazing! I'm fishing for more than 20 years and I'm still watching your tutorial videos. The amount of great tips and tricks is astounding. Keep it up!!
  • @MajingoPower
Oh man, you guys are so well spoken and sound so professional it's a pleasure to listen to you. The way you structure these videos is great and from the point of view of someone just getting back into fishing they're perfect for beginners. Thanks a lot!

Used to fish when I was a kid, just started again. This was so helpful, it's really hard finding useful videos that aren't littered with unexplained terminology. You do a great job explaining things for novices! Keep it up!

I watched this 3 months ago and started float fishing. And now I have a full carp setup. Where do I send the bill too? 😂
  • I've been fishing 30 years, and still learnt a ton from this video. Thanks lads! :)

One of the most informational videos I’ve ever seen on floats
  • Back in to fishing again after 35 years thanks to you and Mortimer/Whitehouse. As always informative and interesting. Keep the content coming. You’re doing a great job.
  • I have watched a lot of videos on beginner fishing and I think this is the best one I have watched. No waffle, to the point, and informative.

Best channel by far, for learning how to fish. I cannot commend enough, your style of explaining things to beginners like me. You guys have really helped me understand different types of fishing. I want to thank you. And hope to see you around the Essex fishing spots one day !!

Absolute banger of a tutorial! It’s amazing how universal and versatile this rig is. I set mine up nearly exactly the same. I mainly only use it for river fishing steelhead with a centerpin, but it is far and away the most productive method.

I've literally gone back to fishing after 15 years, and your videos are extremely useful, especially with how much has changed since simple home made "ping-pong" bite indicators for example 😄👏🏻
  • @DeadlyDan
I love the this style of fishing, it's bang on exactly how I first started out when my uncle taught me how to fish. It's unfortunate that many waters these days ban ground bait unless it's attached to a feeder etc, or some outright ban ground bait all together. I'm sure most people aren't hauling in 2kgs of ground bait a session. Even when method feeder fishing I only end up putting in less than 250g of ground bait for a whole days session.
