Those who are interested in the history of crime know very well that the Mafia is a Sicilian secret criminal organization, but for the common man, and especially for the journalist who wants a loud headline, the Mafia can be anything. Here and the African-American gang of Sam Christian from Philadelphia for its visibility, blatant insolence and cruelty also received the name "mafia", only "black mafia".

And it must be said that this gang justified its name. Here you have influential politicians and fighters for the rights of the black population. And high-profile crimes, not leaving the front pages of all American newspapers. And exorbitant bloodshed, rightfully made this gang one of the most brutal in U.S. history.

So if you are interested in hearing what Sam Christian and his charges did that they are still remembered only in whispers, then meet the Philadelphia Black Mafia, on the other side of the law.

There’s no 15th ave in Philadelphia and you can’t chose sides while doing a documentary lol Camden is in jersey not a suburb of Philly you gotta do better research
  • I was getting into the video until I heard “Camden is a section in Philadelphia.” 😂🤦🏾‍♂️
  • @MoneyMizz

Camden is right over the Walt Whitman bridge from Philly (south Philly) … the random movie scenes were kinda annoying …

It is becoming too common for anyone to accuse someone of a crime that has not been convicted or indicted on any such crime and mislead people to believe that a person is some type of murderer or predator spreading falsehoods where there is no solid evidence can ultimately caused an innocent person to lose their life how is it legally or morally okay to say someone did something but they weren't arrested or convicted of what they are claimed to have done? This is how falsehood can't turn a nation against an innocent person but those who spread the falsehood ultimately receives the same karma in the end maybe even worse. Which the latter is Just.

You want FACTS⁉️ READ "Black Brothers, Inc. : The Violent Rise and Fall of Philadelphia's Black Mafia" by Sean Patrick Griffin ✊🏾💯
  • I was working in Philadelphia while all of this was happening. The Italian Mafia was also killing each other. However, I worked and played in Center City and none of this affected me. I barely knew it was happening unless I read about it or saw it on the news. There are so many inaccuracies in this documentary. Adelphia restaurant is in Deptford NJ, not Atlantic City, you know what, I'm not going to list them all. Long time residents like me will see them for themselves.
  • @michelleMMMMM
I never understood why black folks would name their black gang after an Italian term. They should have come up their own word to describe their organization.
  • @kylepowell2580
Nobody will do you bad like your own people, nothing's gotten better either, still offing each other every day
  • @bushidothedon
Chill with the Camden thing y’all, it’s just a small error but that doesn’t take much from the greatness of this documentary damn.
  • @lbonds362
Camden is city in southern New Jersey not Philadelphia
  • Have really been enjoying your videos since stumbling upon them keep up the grind ✌️
  • @Hahaumad24
Story is as accurate as Carson Wentz was...leave Philly business alone unless you have all facts
  • @shock_n_Aweful
You should vary names of groups a bit to avoid repeating the same thing over and over. Or at least use abbreviated versions, the number of times you say 'black mafia' stands out. It's important to be clear which group you are referring to but surely there must be other descriptive terms or names that applied to the group.
  • First I'm a man entering into the faith of Islam. What I would like to see is for us all to be right in the way of GOD the Creator of Life Allah instead of me witnessing my brother disagreeing over the geographical location of Camdem NJ. We must learn to stop being at odds over things that don't matter.
