What gets me is that every single one calls them prisons. A prison that has a method to escape deliberately built into it, no matter how difficult or obscure, is not a prison! If you're going to call it a prison, at least disguise the puzzles as "security flaws" or something.

Honestly it amazes me that Cmrn didn’t use “F5 gives me a whole new perspective and I was able to see a chest I couldn’t have seen before” on all his escape rooms.

The falling off a 2-block cliff is extremely relatable. I hate losing my hardcore worlds because of a 2 block cliff.

It’s frustrating because there are one or two channels who actively do play through genuinely tough escape rooms with incredibly unique solutions

The thing that annoys me about these videos in general aren't the bad "puzzle designs" or how you usually can escape almost instantly with basic mechanics, but the fact that they call these "prisons." These are not prisons, there, like you said, "Escape Rooms."

My favorite part of these videos is when you show the actual logical solution with no commentary at all. It speaks for itself 😂

This is why I need people like you to help me solve this stuff, because either I'll be smart enough to escape the first room, leaving the rest of them useless, or I'll be too stupid and exhaust all of my resources. This also just makes me wanna make a GOOD Escape room.

It would be very cool to have an escape room challenge where all the puzzles were seemingly obvious but wrong answers and forced you to do weird for once on purpose....

Man, your ideas gave me an idea of my own; You know Choose Your Own Adventure Books? What About Choose Your Own Escape Rooms? Every potential avenue is “correct”, and you can retry a room to attempt a different method. How’s that sound?

Wait.. does anyone realize at 7:05 he still has fire resistance??? I'm pretty sure a whole step could be skipped there. Edit: Just thought of this, you might be asking, "oh well the fire res might run out right?" well no, since when his totem was used, he got 35 seconds of fire resistance which is more than enough to climb the.. what..? six block tall lavafall? yeah i think he would've been fine if he just went through right away

Thinking about making an escape room where these types of escape methods are planned for and welcomed. Maybe where you get a better score the more items you end with. I think it would be interesting.
