Pink Sauce's Chef Pii slipped up BUT so did her Internet critics! Let's investigate🔎👒Download June's Journey for free here: woo.ga/noz48v

Ann just casually proving that she is a food scientist by replicating the pink sauce. Amazing
  • @secretlybees
I cannot truly convey the excitement and comfort I felt hearing an actual food scientist say "I'm gonna' have to do some experiments." I love Ann
  • @Pinkstarclan
I think the question shouldn't be "is she a chef?" but "does she have a food handlers card?" "is she abiding by cottage food laws?" "is she abiding by commercial food manufacturing laws?" "has she consulted any qualified nutritionists in the creation of her label?" "has a third party verified her ingredients list?" bc if all it takes to be a chef is having a friend who wants you to cook for them, "chef" is not the qualifier we should be using to see if someone's mysterious homemade sauce of unknown origin can be mailed over days in the summer heat.
  • @EvanG529
I'm very impressed with that pink sauce replication. A shame that the color fades, but perhaps that's the reason people were receiving bottles in faded colors.
  • @Aftershk
I gotta say, I'm confused as to the statement from the guy who faked his own death... he apologized to Chef Pii and claimed his intent was "not to impact her business in any way," yet... what other intent could one have for FAKING YOUR DEATH from using someone's product? What other POSSIBLE outcome could that have other than impact someone's business in a negative way?
  • @itsmadeofwaffles
So far Ann has replicated the crumbly flake chocolate, the flavors in the coke syrup and the suspicious pink sauce, can't wait for her to uncover the secret ingredient for the kraby patty.
  • @NM92846
Realistically, if she's cooking for other people and getting paid for it, she should at the very least be sanitation certified.
  • @Dervis128
21:57 Spoiler alert, it didn't. She blew through all the money she got by signing the deal, asked for more money, and badmouthed the company when they didn't give it to her. In a series of videos, she claimed they made her sign a terrible contract, defrauded her, aren't giving her the money she is entitled to, and now she can't pay her rent. The company fired back with receipts, saying they gave her more money than they promised and that she spent it all irresponsibly (clothes, travel, lavish parties, etc) and that they now have grounds to sue her for defamation.
  • Everyone out here debunking Pink Sauce, but only Anne is genius enough to somehow confirm the Pink Sauce.
  • @embee7434
Not the final outcome I expected when I clicked on the video and we started with the poor labeling. Great video, Ann. You're so fair and calm and supportive. You are a real hero.
  • Watching this in fall 2023. It didn’t go well for pink sauce lady. Thank you for fair reporting on the subject. Pink lady may have shot herself-in foot when she said she wasn’t under the regulations of the FDA because she wasn’t making a medical product.
  • @turtlepowersf
Very fair breakdown of the whole situation. Unfortunately for Chef Pii, it's all gone drastically downhill since signing with Dave's Gourmet, and seemingly all by her own doing. One thing i noticed in her earlier interviews is, she seemed much more lucid. These days, she speaks much slower and just doesnt seem all there. Shes sabotaging her own success and going off the deep end by unfairly bashing DG.
  • @ashgood7368
The label being wrong can actually be dangerous. Especially for me whos diabetic, you need to know how many carbs are in something and doing too much insulin or too little can have drastic effects
  • @ok_schlatter
The dragon fruit powder fading after a few days might explain why it wasn’t always bright hot pink when people received it before she changed the recipe to keep it that bright hot pink color
  • Speaking of professionalism, get a load of Mrs. Reardon. Instead of jumping on the hate train, she takes an objective approach and doesn't insult or berate Chef Pii. You're the class act we need more of in the world.
  • @gothiclg
Does anyone else love that Dan will seemingly try everything? I honestly appreciate him sacrificing his pallet.
  • @kaya_nori
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done. No clickbaiting, no false claims, checking everything that's possible and using professional expertise to formulate an unbiased opinion. Great video as always, thank you so much, Ann!

From what I remember the reason people were concerned about The Pink Sauce ( I Saw Swell Entertainment's video on it) was how the Pink Sauce was being shipped. It was not refrigerated and was being shipped out in a heat wave and looked as if it was being stored in a garage. Many of the early bottles that people got were gassy which was a sign that a possible bacterial reaction . A few had exploded and were clearly rotten. That seemed to be the main reason people were urged not to buy it or eat it that I heard. I also found it alarming that someone was selling a food product and didn't understand that by selling food they might have to answer to the FDA ( FOOD and Drug administration).
  • @petiteange08
I love how you actually tried to replicate the emulsifier process because you've never used dragon fruits before, instead of just claiming that the sauce wouldn't work. The sauce does look sus to me, mainly due to the labelling issue, but I think it's still important to remain objective when reviewing a product.
