The parrot saying “I dislike you” and literally swearing was hilarious. Why do I have the feeling some miffed developer working on the game inserted that in when they were at their limit working on a budget game like this one? Well, I wouldn’t blame them.

I had Nintendogs, Monkeyz House, and a very similar game, Catz Clan. In the latter, I learned a disturbing thing about cats. You see, I had a mother and her son and the affection was maxed out between them. I thought nothing of it and aged him up to adult. I then watched in horror and confusion as the two proceeded to make a baby. That was the day I learned that in the feline world, family or not, everyone's fair game.

What i think Large actually said, trying to listen harder: "Today I'm feeling ~aloha~" sounds exactly like how everyone else heard it "I'm so getting pissed" is really hard to discern. Sounds like "I'm stronger than this" or "I'm strong and in peace" "You f***ed my again" = "You stopped by again" "You look really hot." = "You worked really hard"

I usually watch Jaiden Animations for the stories because idk much about drawing or animation, but the way she slapped the case when she said “have you seen the box art” around 10:25 was so crisp

My first pet game was Horsez 2 on the DS, and it was deeply traumatizing because at the end of the story mode your rival decides to commit arson and set your barn on fire, and the game devs decide that an appropriate reaction to this is to insert a “fun mini game” where you have to put out the fire as your horses, who are trapped inside, are screaming in terror.

Oh, the bird story is Momotauro! Peach Boy! It’s basically the same, but it's a baby boy that comes out of a giant peach.

My favourite lesser known Virtual Pet game is Petz Fantasy, where you get to take care of 20 different Creatures of 4 elements (Flight, Speed, Ice and Fire). When you filled your pets requirements (Play, Feed and Wash) you get to go to a magic dimension to play an Elemental minigame The game is loads of fun 😃
