Phil Heath, one of the greatest body builders of all time and a seven-time winner of Mr. Olympia joins The Pivot in a special Friday conversation talking his journey into fitness and performance as well his personal struggles along the way.

Sitting down with Ryan, Fred and Channing, Phil details his path from his childhood dream of being a professional athlete to wrestling to finding his calling as a bodybuilder. But a lot of success didn’t come without a lot of struggle. Overcoming mental health issues and loss, Phil turned his setbacks into motivation and explains how he was able to make peace after suffering emotional disappointments.

And no show would be complete without Channing being able to ask the questions we all want to know but wouldn’t dare say out loud!

Tune in to this special Friday conversation at 3p est with episode streaming on YouTube, Spotify and Apple podcasts

Your guys guest list is crazy. You guys have covered a wide spectrum of guests in such a short time. It's legendary to say the least.
  • The diversity of this show is crazy! Again, these boys don't miss!!! Love it!
  • I can imagine CT Fletcher on the Pivot. That would be a homerun episode.
  • “Im Damn glad no cars hit you.” -RC DAMN that line hit deep for me who also tried suicide when I was 18 but I’m alive at 27 still kicking it. Anyways Channing made this episode be hilarious haha and Freddy with the DEEP questions . What show… keep at it !

Im a disabled vet. 6 years ago I found out I have cancer that has destroyed my endocrine system. It was give up, or fight back. Just like saying he laid in the road and heard nothing. After my consult, I sat alone, heard nothing. Im still here and Im better for it. His story makes me appreciate what he has done even more.
  • I would of never thought y’all would interview Phil Heath. W interview, I’m a huge bodybuilding fan and big fan of Phil. This was cool.
  • Bro, Phil Heath is a big dude, but he's also a humble and down to Earth dude. Another great episode fellas.
  • I love when yall introduce someone new to me. His story resonates so much! Most kids that dont the pro dream have to pivot and find their identity. It sucks, ive laid in the road myself. Thank you guys for this one!
  • Man I got chills when he started talking about your identity being wrapped up in your sport.
  • Channing reminds me so much of my grandma. Zero filter and everything that comes out his mouth is somehow hilarious 😂
  • nah this was hard. been in therapy. was supposed to play at my dream school but thought I was going to marry my dream gal. so i passed up the school and got cheated on. I battled--I'm about to graduate with a degree in CS. this is the conversation a lot of young men dont wanna have. I'm only 23 but i appreciate this so much

The level of honesty and emotional vulnerability you guys allow to flow naturally is a testament to the caliber of people you are. Another great show
  • The reason this podcast is great is because nothing is forced, they ask real difficult questions, and they aren’t afraid of confrontation. Excellence & black excellence at that.

Phil Heath is a monster. Such an inspiration to many in the bodybuilding world. Good conversation with a legend
  • This was such a great episode. The versatility in who the pivot is interviewing is unbelievable. This has opened my eyes to a lot. I have contemplated suicide and I’m happy to still be here. It’s been rough for me, but I’m blessed to be standing here today. I appreciate this episode because it has brought much clarity. Thank you so much
