My husband said that the big, thick cement looking side is the Firebox. Don't remove that. I'm sure you know, but I wouldn't have! I'm loving the renovation! I can't wait till you paint. It's going to be stunning!

Alex, when you are scooping out the small bits and debris you put it on the floor and then you have to sweep it all up to clean. A suggestion would be to have a bucket at your side for the small bits, then you could just dump it later and save yourself a few extra clean up steps. Love watching your progress, I think you are very brave to keep going!

I have concerns too about that dark green— i’m afraid you will tired of it pretty quickly. It will also, in spite of that glorious window, make your room seem very dark. I love seeing all of your adventures both on the house and on your mud larking —keep it up!

You don't do things by halves. I once set myself on fire with a jackhammer. It wasn't deliberate so be careful to not block its vent. Thank you for uploading.
