This just made me want to visit Japan even more

Iā€™m a Japanese American currently living in Yokohama and a huge fan of the BAYSTARS and baseball. Iā€™m so glad that you are showing what baseball is like here in Japan to all the viewers around the world. Many Americans still probably has alot of question marks when it comes to the NPB world where the atmosphere is completely different than the states but I hope many people can learn more about the culture here throughout these vlogs! Thanks Trevor and Iā€™m excited to see you on the big stage this year ā¤

Very jealous of how much more popular baseball is in Japan than the US. You could really see the difference in support in this year's WBC. MLB could learn a few things from Japan.

I wish Trevor was playing in the US still but Japan will be amazing for the brand and the fans are so genuine and you can tell they love having him there. Really feels like his love for the craft will be even more appreciated over there as well. This will be a blessing in disguise
  • @albertlwj
glad to see the Japanese team respecting Bauer's own training regime and routine, unlike the MLB teams who scoffed at him and tried to get him to fit in
  • @ChairmanMeow1
Its weird how things ended up this way but I swear, your personality was made for Japanese baseball. You can be obsessive about your craft and well, thats Japan! I think you are gonna absolutely love Japan and this season.
  • @schemea
You can see it in the comments on the Japanese version of this video too, but Japanese fans really appreciate your analytical and meticulous approach to pitching which may have been slightly off putting in the eyes of MLB. I think you will be a great fit there for sure.

I am Japanese, but I like this video better than the Japanese version because it looks more like a documentary film. We look forward to Bauer's success!

The thing I like about Trevor is he is genuinely interested and intellectually curious about other people, cultures, etc, even when talking about something such as Pokemon.

I am a BayStars fan living in Yokohama, Japan, and I am very excited to have Bauer here in Yokohama. As Bauer told me, the style of watching games in Japan and the U.S. is quite different. The "cheering songs" of the players are an important part of the culture.怀I hope that Major League Baseball fans will visit Japanese baseball stadiums when they come to Japan. And, like Bauer, enjoy Japanese culture, such as Tokyo Tower and Pokemon. And, above all, we are looking forward to the day when Bauer will pitch on the mound for the first team.

Whatā€™s blowing my mind, played/been a baseball fan 20+years. How have I never heard/seen this about Japan games??? Always knew they were passionate but feel iv never heard anyone talk about how entertaining/different Japan games are. Insane

Just wanted to say thank you for taking a moment to thank a brother that is currently serving in the navy. I am a army veteran from many years ago and more than ever these kids need to hear those simple words of thank you for your service. Thank you for doing that for my brothers and sisters in the military!
  • @pohorex6834
Honestly I truly think that you playing in Japan and sharing your experience will do more for baseball than anything that you couldā€™ve done in the MLB. Dumb what happened, but super important for sharing the baseball culture
  • @samueltokko
As a military veteran, thank you for taking the time to recognize those who are serving our country around the world! You are a good guy and will always have fans who are rooting for you

Love how Trevor is showing the fans' excitement for baseball in Japan in vlog, as well as Trevor's experience connecting to the culture. I know that getting back to majors is the goal after the season, but I wouldn't count out on him staying an extra year. Just when World Baseball Classic proved that NPB is as good as MLB, but Trevor's personality and his dream of playing in Japan is match made in heaven.

This just made me want to visit Japan even more. The hero interview is the coolest thing Iā€™ve ever heard of in a sporting event
  • @subttt700
I am an ordinary Japanese and I like this video very much because I can hear your natural voice. I like this video very much because I can sense not only your personality and emotions, but also your health and fatigue level from your voice.
  • @SargeAu
Japan is such a genuinely nice culture. Ive heard nothing but great thing about the people of Japan. Hope you have a great year dude
  • @JW-_
Awesome to see a packed stadium even after the game has finished. America needs the Japanese vibe to revive baseball here.
  • @sullivanbean8865
Iā€™m happy for you Trevor, the excitement from the fans, itā€™s so cool to see you back out there. Hopefully us Americans get the opportunity to get to watch you play again in the MLB
