Funny anecdote I have about this game... When I was like 12 or something, I picked up some GBA beat 'em up from a used games bin at EB Games. Took it home, and I guess the person who traded it in made one Hell of a mistake, because Golden Sun was in there instead. I was going to take it back to the store, but decided to give it a try. I only heard the first 5 seconds of the Vale theme and immediately adored it, and I loved it more and more as the game went on. To this day, it's one of my favorite games. An addictive, original, well-designed and all-around fantastic RPG that will definitely stand the test of time; yet it's the charm that truly makes the game truly amazing. TL;DR: Best nostalgia trip ever!

Oh man, it's STILL rare as fuck to see RPGs with battles this cinematic, especially on handheld. The way they designed the camera to work, and the attacks to look... fucking epic.
