The child putting a receipt on his mothers forehead as a bandage is the most heartbreaking thing I have ever heard
  • I cannot believe this poor little boy tried to pick up his mums things that had fallen out of her pockets and put them back for her, this is the saddest thing I've ever heard
  • @itsemi_
btw, part 2 is titled ‘wimbledon murders’ and part 3 is ‘green chain ripper’ for those who are trying to find them! <3
  • The fact that Alex’s description of the man was so similar to the actual murder is amazing for a such an little baby 🥺
  • @Chloe-ti2db
"Alex ran around picking up his mummy's things and put them in her pockets for her" such an innocent soul..
  • @TheDrexynRamsey
Maybe her son dissociated during that portion of the attack he doesn’t remember. The mind is a powerful protector..

There should be laws against reporters going after people who have already been thru horrors. That's so twisted to think to interview a baby who watched his mom and best friend, his soul mate be brutally murdered and raped. I know that kind of bond. That's me and my son.

I hope this father sued those disgusting journalists. Despicable horrific behavior from them. Christ it makes me angry
  • I never ever cry at these videos, but Andre asking his toddler if he would want to keep waking up, and that “yes” giving him the strength to carry on as a dad - breaks me.
  • @AmandaBones
A trauma response especially in children is to block out things like a parent being sexually assaulted so it's not a surprise he doesn't remember that part
  • God that poor man, imagine literally weighing up whether you will kill your son and then yourself. Grief is such a strange emotion. I'm glad he was 'there' enough to respect his sons desire to live and I'm so glad that Alex answered 'correctly' it's a tragic enough story without adding a murder/suicide.
  • I'm not a very squeamish or sensitive person when it comes to true crime stories. But after hearing you describe little Alex trying to make his mommy feel better and gathering up all of her things, I almost considered taking your disclaimer warning. Absolutely tragic. Poor baby 😢
  • I don’t think Alex was knocked down entirely when his Mom was murdered. Possibly, his consciousness deliberately blocked him from remembering such traumatic incident for his well being.

"Put the receipt as a bandaid" ME: LOUD AUDIBLE SOBBING
  • The fact that Alex remembered anything is impressive. He was such a small baby. 😔 My father was killed when I was 8, and I don't remember anything for a year after his funeral. I now have a 9 year old son, and I couldn't imagine his mother's fight and fear trying to keep living so that she could be there to raise her child!
  • Just got to the part about Alex picking up him mum's things and putting the receipt on her forehead as a bandage. I don't think I've ever heard anything more heartbreakingly sad. Poor little baby :'(
  • @raawrsome
The way the police handled this case and how the media portrayed it heavily influenced my dissertation about tabloid newspapers. I've not seen anyone else cover this case and already know you'll do it justice. Glad it's a three-parter because of just how much depth you'll need to go into!
  • The fact that her son still remembers the entire, attack is so heartbreaking 🙏 RIP. RACHEL.❤️
  • How compassionate for emergency services to decide to let him rest like that, that's genuinely such a good idea, it would let his little mind start to process this horrific trauma.
