For CrowStrike engineers, there's a simple solution for this. It's called testing. Use your updates beforehand on your own systems!, before you propagate them to the world.

What kind of OS Microsoft has that doesn't work due to a wrongly placed update. Don't they need some failsafe mechanism to take over automatically in that case. Safe boot should be automatic and not optional. If a layman like me can understand it why Microsoft top minds don't. I think Microsoft must fire its hiring managers for hiring such dumb guys.
