Final boss theme from DKC1 in pristine studio quality. This was made possible by locating the sounds from workstation keyboards and drum machines such as the Korg Wavestation, Roland S770, and Roland R8, and plugging them into the music instruction data ripped from the game, plus a little mixing magic to create might have sounded like with the veil of 16bit compression lifted. Part of a project to restore the entire DKC series soundtrack. Follow me on Twitter for more updates: twitter.com/PrinceSamlet
Electric Guitar in the download link is sampled from @RetroNinjin (youtube.com/channel/UC-NKX76qi0vqIOgFU4-0Qig)'s Gibson SG Standard

Since then I never put down the controller when any credits appear on any game.

Man this was probably the first time a boss battle ever blew me away like this. The music & just how hard he was, and then that damn credit fakeout. Never ever seen that done in a game until this one. What a final boss fight! Truly iconic.

The guitars sound even better here than the last one
-
This is a huge improvement from the original restoration

1:55 a primeira trollada a gente nunca esquece

This song always reminds me of my mom because she played this game a lot and i would laugh at her when she lost 😂 rip mom, miss you forever.
-
this song always made me think of Iron Maiden's "Hallowed be thy Name"...
-
(patiently waits for the stereo drum effect) 0:28 Awww yeah, there it is!

Best Super Nintendo boss music ever 🖤 Long live King K. Rool
-
I would like a remaster for this game with the real graphics of Sylicon Graphics.

This is how One piece's villain music fights should sound like:
-
"AUGH" - King K. Rool
-
One word: Goosebumps
-
This makes an already badass final boss theme even more badass
-
I remember when i got siked by the fake credits as a kid lol
-
What I love about this boss and song is that the boss himself is so rhythmic and timing based that the changes in pace in the song match changes in pace in the battle if you are fighting it correctly
-
The way it goes from cheery to rock... is just... GODLY.
-
This sounds as clear and epic as it does in my childhood memories. Thank you for taking the time to remaster such a great piece of gaming music.
-
Can't help but tear up... so much nostalgia. I love Donkey Kong Country so much, man.

I just bought the first vinyl and pre-ordered the other two. Having these soundtracks pressed is a dream come true, thank you so much for doing all this work to preserve the soundtracks. DKC has a very special place in my heart, and it's soundtrack is one of my favorite of all time. Your work in restoring the tracks is beautiful and really takes me back to when I was a kid and played this with my dad. These vinyls will be front and center in my collection, and will probably always be my favorites.
