Yo Qaaman, when this game drops, I want all the smoke, you was talking all that hot shit about being a beast at Tenkaichi 3. 1V1 me when this game drops 😂

The biggest upgrade from tenkaichi 1 to tenkaichi 2 was the ability to actually transform mid match really felt like the show

BT3 had peak mechanics of the series, but BT2 hands down had the best OST argubly one of the best ost of any DB game. One of my favorite moments with the the tenkaichi series was when me and my cousin was playing on ps2. I was playing as Goku and he was playing Vegeta on the Cell map, he was on the platform above and used Final Flash point blank, the whole map exploded which was normal and all, but what made us loose our shit was finding out Goku had survived that whole ordeal without taking any damage. like how the hell all that shit happened point blank only to find out he missed.

Qaaman you a goat bro been watching you for years
  • Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is my favorite childhood game. I used to play it everyday with my brother on our PS2.

I remember playing Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii back in 2008 and 2009. Budokai Tenkaichi 2 had a great OST soundtrack and the story mode was well done and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 had the most characters.

There ain't no nostalgia, I am still playing Tenkaichi 3 and Tag Team to this day! As a kid I did not have Play Station, I had to go PS playrooms to play all 3 Tenkaichi games. Few years after that I could emulate those games on my PC, and few more years after I finally bought PS2 and PSP to get that authentic experience. BT1: Definitely the best intro cutscene, and my favorite titbit that appeared in this game and not later ones is the hole / hangar in the city stage BT2: Story, Best music - My God that track called Lonesome wild is perfection! BT3: ROSTER! I tried to love Raging Blast as much as Tenkaichi series, but they changed and updated things to much for my taste...

I’d consider myself a master at Tenkaichi gameplay and knew how to do everything pretty well. This wonderful community finally provides a tournament opportunity if we can all get together for the new game. As for what each one did best BT1: Best intro cutscene! Will always remember how awesome seeing SSJ Goku vs Kid Buu in some white pseudo space with celestial music was for the first time BT2: Nailed story mode and had the best OST BT3: Gameplay and character selection

Tenkaichi 2 had the best OST and story mode, Tenkaichi 3 had the best (more fluid and fast paced) gameplay and the one part of the story mode 3 improved on was the in game cutscenes where pressing R3 would trigger a transformation cutscene, specific attack cutscenes, or a dialogue moment. Only thing that bugged me with BT3 is how short the story mode was and it cut out a lot of fights such as Gotenks Vs Buu, Gohan Vs Buu, Trunks Vs Frieza, Trunks Vs the Androids post Cell saga, etc
  • When you're so good at the game that it becomes boring for everybody else, yeah I relate to that a lot with my brother 😅 I made him quit playing the same thing as me because I was just too perfect.

I forget what it was called but I remember bt3 also having this bio section where Chi chi describes all the characters and their forms. Would be cool if we got that again.
  • @ignis2401
I will forever cherish the memories of coming home from Taekwondo and playing BT2 with my brother on the Wii. We later got BT3
  • @PotentSenzu
I remember getting BT3 for my old ps2 a few years back and was surprised how shitty it looked on my 4k TV (the image was stretched out to fit the tv) so I ended up emulating it on my computer and it honestly looked like a remaster lol
  • @pokeboy305
I loved how they had different versions of characters. Like goku early goku mid gt goku kid goku . Goku mid was my favorite goku to play with
  • I remember playing DBZ BT2 when i first got my ps2 in 2013. (Yeah i was poor) i played story mode up until i got to the flying part on namek. When you had to catch up to Zarbon. I couldn't figure out the button to accelerate your flying speed so I gave up. I usually just watch cpu VS cpu figths just to watch who would win. Then i got BT3 at GameStop. I couldn't get passed great ape vegeta. I just couldn't get use to 3d fighting games. I was still use to Budokai 1 2 3 and infinite worlds. U know traditional side scrolling fighting. Again just like to watch the cpus fight each other i would even set up a cpu tournament just for my own entertainment. Yeah, good times Last minute Edit: I didn't get Tenkaichi 1 until last year on eBay just have all 3 games. Didn't even touch BT1 since i know it wasn't going to be good compared to 2 and 3

Im literally hooking up the ps2 and 3 to relearn the basics. 🤷‍♂️

Maaaan Qaaman. I didn't own tenkaichi one but I borrowed it from a friend. And yes you didn't miss out really on the first game. The second game added a bunch of stuff!!! Transformations during battle That Dragon Rush type of dash The music as you said cuz most of the first game had imports from Budokai 1 through 3 And it also added beam struggle I didn't even know tenkaichi 3 came out until my uncle had it
