I started working on this in somewhere in august?? there were multiple times where i just stopped working on it for like 1-2 months lol. i needed something to upload and this was almost over so i decided to finish it. you can clearly see that some frames are rushed lol i just wanted to get this finished
OK SO. about the animatic: This is basically a semi-AU where swiftpaw manages to "stay alive" a bit more and has a talk with his mentor and mother before passing away. the other events are pretty much the same, i just thought that it would be nice if swiftpaw could talk to his family one last time

I think most people forget that Longtail was also Swiftpaw's half brother, they shared the same father.

The idea of the whole clan having seen what was done to Swiftpaw is scary. The amount of revolt, the incredible new amount of mourning, and the hatred that would be directed to Bluestar for something she wasn't aware of but left unsupervised could have changed the narrative incredibly.

As much as people like Swiftpaw, I feel like Longtail is the under rated one here! I want a Longtail focused animatic/pmv/map. I love how he goes from Tigerclaw supporting egocentric jerk, to one of ThunderClan's most loyal and devout warriors, to one of my favorite elders.

This is a very sad animatic for a very sad death. If this had happened, I wouldn't be surprised if Longtail and Goldenflower joined Tigerclan to go against Bluestar. Great job!

OH NOOOO POOR SWIFTY :'( you did a fantastic job with the emotion and pacing of this, honestly made me tear up a bit. and i really liked all the flashback parts, those were really well done and did a good job communicating what was going on. awesome work!!!

For some reason I got chills when the mom (i think) ran in. This was a amazing, be proud!

1:28 the pure proud motherly look here fills my heart omg, this moment is precious Poor baby didn't deserve this..anyone who says he did are cruel, he had no idea what he was walking into to begin with, he didn't "choose" his fate he didn't even know what his fate was; it's like blaming someone for their death saying they chose it when all they did was walk to the store at 8pm which led to them getting mauled by a loose dog; have some sympathy

bruuuh why you do this... such a great, yet heart breaking concept... and it's so simple yet impactful... imagine if they had done this in canon, if he had held out long enough to have done this... god, imagine how much more soul crushing it would've been, and IS, here...
