When you finally become an adult and go to lon lon ranch at night Malon is standing in the middle of the ranch singing since its the only peace she ever gets since Ingo took over, its honestly pretty sad

This brings back so many memories. The memory in my life that I cherish the most is when I was 7 years old and I wanted this game so much, I'd read every gaming magazine and talk with my friends how hyped I was and how badly I wanted to play this game. Sadly my father didnt have much money and I had only Super mario 64 to play for years which left me with little hope that I would play it anytime soon. The day OoT launched I almost begged my father to buy me it and he said he couldnt, that he was tired from work and didnt have enough money for it. I walked back to my room sad as a sad boy can be. A few moments later he knocked on my door and said that he would buy me the game if I took out the monster living in the basement. I was shocked, not even knowing there was a monster in the basement in the first place, but then I went there to confront it as Link himself would do. When I entered there my father turned on the lights and there it was: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The big box edition with huge manuals, art book and everything I could've wanted. This was the happiest day in my life. I miss you dad, you were the best and I hope you are doing fine up there, thank you very much for everything!!!!

the moment you realize you're older than link but you can't go back in time like him
  • I just realized that Ocarina of Time 3D is old enough for people to be nostalgic for that version. That makes me feel old.

Every time I see a horse I sing Epona's song One time a horse actually looked exited when I sang it!

This hits different after playing BotW and checking out the ruins of Lon Lon Ranch (and also after listening to Kass play at a stable)

Almost teared up when I heard this and thought where has the time gone. So much fun with my siblings playing this game growing up

At the ripe age of 21 I just finished my first ever OOT playthrough , what an experience it was!

Everytime I see a horse I remember this song and I scream "EPONAAAAA"

My parents got me a 3ds and Oot came with it. I remember late at night when I'd play it and just hang out at lon lon ranch. Good times

I’ve lost count of how many times I played this game from start to finish. Every time I just felt like taking a break from doing dungeons / sidequests id always come here. There’s just something so comforting about it, maybe that when you come back as adult link you realised how dark and corrupt the world actually was but Malon was still there, singing the same song she always did as a child. Similar to real life, you feel a small dose of genuine peace and calmness within a crashing world.
  • Hello fellow internet traveler, I can see we both have the same mindset, to come back to this incredible song for nostalgia. I hope the rest of your travels are just as good.

A cool summer night, in your bed, the breeze blowing in through your slightly opened window, playing on your DS, like the night would never end. That's one feeling i'll never experience again.

My son falls asleep to this song. Its wild to see another generation enjoy what we did as kids. OOT Link will live on forever.

This song makes me cry. I got goosebumps listening to it. I had a dog named Epona that died some years ago. I played this masterpiece of a game one year before finding her as a puppy and so when I listen to this particular piece among the majestic soundtrack of the game, I can't help it but become emotional.
  • I never knew that time Link would be a hero, a knight, and most of all, a farmer...

Hi everybody!!! This is my first time playing Ocarina of Time and I'm LOVING the soundtracks!!
  • @jcplays5831
The sweet sound of home. Coming back and remembering who you were, who you are now. Remembering who you loved, and maybe still love. This honestly just brings a tear to my eye
  • @SkellerART
Hear that? It's the sound of a better day
