Björk's full set from the National Theatre, Reykjavík, on 6 January 1999. If you like this, support Björk by seeing her live, buying her official live and studio recordings, and visiting bjork.com. This is for nonprofit, educational purposes only. I don't own the copyright.

This was originally shown on Icelandic television. All tracks from this set are already on YouTube, but I thought it would be a treat to have the entire set as a single video.

Thanks to BjörkFTP for the recording, which is also available on dimeadozen.org as 'No Place Like Home'.

  • The full setlist is in the description (click on the 'show more' button).
  • In musical terms, listening to Björk has been the BEST DISCOVERY I ever did inmy short life...  <3
  • Fun story... she gave a show at the Metropolis in Montreal in the late 90's. I was with my uncle outside at the backstage listening to the show as best we could, whenever the door would open we'd get a glimpse of her! At the end she came out and walked to her hotel with some of her people, we walked with her and got her autograph and spent a good 20 minutes talking with her! She's easily the nicest most awesome person of our time.
  • How can she be so childish and mature at the same time? She always reminds me about our natural, instinctive inclinations.
  • @BrennerBay
She dances like a child. "this is how the music makes me move" kinda thing. So cool. No inhibitions. Just dancing. No glitz, no choreographers, just...Bjork.
  • Venus as a boy is such a precious song and her vocals do it such justice.
  • Definition of the word "tragedy"; To be born in this life, and die, without ever having to have experienced life with Bjork.
  • @YaaraC109
I love those little dances she does during her performances :')
  • My favorite thing about watching her perform live is that she seems completely unfettered in her personality...like she knows most people will either not get it or think it's really strange and doesn't think anything of it. It's like looking at someone whose unabashed sense of expression is still 4 years old. "Look at me, isn't this cool?".....and we've all been conditioned not to just say "fuck yeah, it is! and I wanna dance too!"....and I get a bit of that back with her. Gift from the gods, I swear.
  • People who dislike Bjork are scientifically mindless, and musically ignorant. She is one of the greatest personalities in music, but no one can express the power of feelings in the way she does.
  • Bjork's work changed musical concept worldwide from the second half of 90s till today.
  • That's the most amazing applause session I've ever seen. No wonder why Iceland is the happiest country in the world.
