I was intrigued by the Hit Box when the Tekken 8 Demo dropped before last Christmas. When I started playing it, my arcade stick suddenly felt imprecise, and it was a lot of work to move my character around the 3D space continuously. I eventually settled on the Razer Kitsune because it is officially licensed for the PS5. I haven't used my arcade stick since January and have no regrets. Now, I can play faster, more precisely, and most importantly, with no muscle strain. I'm still retraining my brain, though, as sometimes I instinctively hit down instead of up when I want to go up. Thanks to the guys at Hit Box Arcade for a marvellous invention! 👏

I have never needed a lawyer looking lady to tell me what to look for in a leverless hitbox, but now i know this is what i need. Thanks for helping me look into getting leverless!

You remind me so much of my friend. The cadence to your speech. So professional and yet occasionally vulgar at the same time. Hell yall might be family for all i know.

Learned SF6 on Stick, and I tend to have more fun. Tekken is quite sensitive to inputs compared to Street Fighter, but it has been a lot of fun. Don't feel the need to have the bestest, most accurate controller as you climb the ranks. Similar to finding the character you will have the most fun learning with, find the input method that you will have the most fun using. Tbh, the only reason I got stick was because I thought it gave me a competitive advantage. It did not. However, for me, it made the learning process more fun and I learn much faster than on controller or Keyboard. So I guess it kinda does now...
  • It’s me. A barbaric, stick-jerking, Sanwa button slapping Lee main 😂. I think I’m past the point of no return. But very insightful video!

made my own hitbox with gp2040-ce and sanwa buttons. Also have a mini hybrid from haute42 and both are awesome. Just like mechanical keyboards, it can be addictive to try new things. Really thank you for sharing your thoughts about input devices :person-blue-holding-pencil:

    Thanks for covering your controller!

Are you trying to teach us about arcade sticks or 4 play 2 mins in lol😂 I could watch you play and talk about tekken all day long. Very insightful, knowledgeable and skilled

Not gonna lie you look good in that jacket. 😏 Thanks for covering this, I’ve been thinking about getting a hitbox for a while

Regarding the actuation point, I did some intensive mod that involving inserting silicone fillings(2mm diameter cords) into the mechanical switches themselves so that it bottoms right after the actuation point, essentially halving it's keystroke for efficiency, also makes the switch more silent too, I think mechanical keyboard o-rings does the same trick too, just that I prefer silicone fillings as a more permanent solution, the keycap won't bounce off as often.

Eileen I know your a great player but your beauty is greater than the stars in the sky

I've been using a hitbox since tekken 8. One thing i have trouble with is JFSR for hwoarang and electrics with mishimas. And its the sensitivity Sanwa buttons can be activated by the weight of your finger. So its easy to get forward or 2 input slightly before the correct just frame timing. Will be looking into different buttons
  • thats crazy because i just looked up some buttons to replace for a cheap hitbox i purchased on ali express and from i understand Sanwa is supposed to be a good brand, but i'm going to look into Gamer finger. Thanks for your input.

Great video and great choice of a controller. I use a hitbox with qanba gravity ks buttons.

Eileen I hope you become a monster in Tekken. Would love to see you do well.
  • @keo_bas
damn im dumb for not investigating game fingers, thanks for sharing the knowledge.
  • @TheJakeJackson
Nice video! Just in case you didn't know: many majors like Evo ban last input priority SOCD cleaning for all the games they run, Tekken included.

I have often thought about the hit box. Taking in as much info as I can. Love the Korean stick, but there is a skill required that takes years.
