They missed an opportunity to make this a little bit more expensive but a lot more impressive by adding a bubbling rock inside the volcano that shoots a stream of bubbles on a timer (say, every 15 minutes), to simulate an eruption while aerating the tank. Or even just making it a button.

Aqua Dragon sounds much cooler than Sea Monkey to be fair.

This design is such an improvement over the kit I got as a child in the 70's. The designers took the memo about texture aiding in algal growth, they've tweaked the formulas of the food and what comes in the egg packet. I think they've tried to make something that will actually work well. I noticed another commentor mentioned they could have added a bubbling feature which could have taken the tank up a notch, and would work well with the volcano theme, so I guess there's room for a "New and Improved" version. Whatever the case, I'm considering buying this for my grandchildren, so they, or perhaps you, have done a great job!

As someone who hatches millions of artemia every week for use as food for baby fish, it's really fun to see the life cycle. I never get to see them for longer than about 12 hours.

Oh my goodness, this is super cool! My son would absolutely LOVE this tank, he loves anything to deal with volcanoes! And to be able to make them change to be red little guys is awesome!(his favorite color!)It really makes the effect of the brine shrimp as the "lava" in the volcano! I so need to get one one these, love this whole design!

I love these videos. It's basically the same thing every time, just different shaped tanks, but they're just so satisfying! Great production dude!

What a cool tank design. I love how creative these kits are getting, the red sea monkeys is a great touch 😂

man u are healing my inner child, it sounds dumb, but i’ve forgotten most of my childhood as a trauma response, so watching this video is making me feel so childish and pure

9:02 Since youtube decided to recommend me this video, I might as well write a comment. Those round egg looking things in the food mixture seemed like decapsuled brine shrimp eggs (i.e. they've been treated with bleach to dissolve the outer shell layer away. Crazy how resilient the dried brine shrimp eggs really are.) They might be there to give kiddos extra excitement when the number of their pets magically increases later on. Observing the changes is exciting after all. Decapsuled eggs will "hatch", or more like start developing, in broader water range of parameters than ,intact eggs with downside of not being as resilient against abrasion and UV light as intact eggs. Of course my guess might be completely wrong and those globular things are something else. It would be easy to test this hypothesis out in separate container though. This info might be beneficial to anyone who buys this particular kit and something goes awry with the colony soon after the eggs hatch and all they're left with is that packet of food.

Pico, gotta' think like a kid. I bet that spinning light wheel thingy is an utter amazement to most! Every kid LOVES a "secret function" of some sort to spring on their unsuspecting pals, lol! :face-orange-raised-eyebrow:

I’d love to see more aqua dragon products on the channel! I had no idea this brand existed, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality!
  • @8Bit_Studio
Really cool to see them still making new things around brine shrimp
  • @tymesho
SO many memories from ordering Sea Monkey's from the back of a comic book in the sixties!
  • @chrisgreek4285
Being completely honest, I clicked on this video just because I am old enough to remember sea monkeys (I knew they were brine shrimp) being advertised at the back of just about every comic book. I always wanted to try them - my sister was allergic to anything with feathers or fur - but my mother nixed that idea quickly. I honestly thought that by watching your video my almost sixty year old me would scoff at those childish wants, but I just kinda want them more now! LOL
  • @hobojoe4910
Started watching despite having zero interest in brine shrimp cause the dude seemed chill. Got suckered into buying brine shrimp and am happy about it.
  • @Eriena87
Such a lovely looking tank! Its very cool that they change colour depending on the food they are eating.
  • @geronimo5537
Cool tank design. Best I have seen for these in years.
  • @CJ-ht4rf
I love that you captured the color change mid transit. It makes them look glowy
  • @crusty5191
