In yet another straddling decision, US billionaire Elon Musk said he is moving his companies – SpaceX and X – out of California. In two posts on X on July 16, Musk said he will move SpaceX’s headquarters from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas. Musk announced that he will also move Social media platform X from San Francisco to Austin, Texas. Meanwhile, the Tesla CEO also rejected reports that he plans to give $45 million a month to a new super political-action committee (PAC) to support Donald Trump’s election bid. This came after The Wall Street Journal reported that Musk plans to give $45 million a month to a PAC to support Trump’s presidential run.
