You know a movie has impacted you when 5 days after your still thinking about it
-
Notice how Joaquin remembers all the crew membersâ names and gives them credit and recognition in his interviews - shows how humble he is đ
-
How do you top Heath Ledger's Joker performance? You don't. You make it your own. Joaquin Phoenix took the Joker role to a place I could never imagine... no chemical spills, no "superhero-esque" plot line just society kicking someone who is already down.
-
Brilliant "interview". No stupid questions, no annoying talk show host, just the actor and director talking abour their creation...
-
This movie didn't feel like a movie, it was more of a life event.
-
The part where Arthur is stuck laughing on the train with that pained expression while those three guys harass him drove me close to tears. It's like I could really feel his pain.
-
Todd Phillips deserves a Oscar just as much as Joaquin Phoenix.
-
I'm thankful movies such as this exist in today's climate.
-
âjoaquin phoenix makes everything intenseâ nothing but the truth right there
-
The scene where he looks up at the tv in the hospital is so sad. The look on his face just cuts right to my heart.
-
Acting is a solid 12/10, phenomenal film
-
Itâs crazy how thin he had to get. He looks so healthy now that he almost doesnât look like the same person at all.
-
We need more movies with character study and less CGI. This one, Joker, has brought back art to the film!
-
I really hope Todd and Joaquin work together again in the future, they brought the best out in one another, IMO.
-
One of my favourite moments was "Forgot to punch out"
-
Love how humble Joaquin is. He's a tremendously gifted actor.
-
This movie has some balls I haven't seen in decades. Phenomenal acting. Oscar winning 100%
-
This guy actually had the balls to Make it R rated, he didnât care if it would bring in less money from the kids not showing up. He wanted to make the movie he wanted to make. Kids would get bored anyways. This definitely isnât a kids movie. So anybody that wants to take your kids to this. Donât.

movie of the year

The dancing on the stairs is cinematic perfection and will become iconic over time. Joaquin is a rock star.
