As I am in the process of converting to Catholicism from a non-denominational/Baptist background, Sophia’s story is so relatable. When she said “it was fear that Catholicism was right..”That’s so true. I grew up on Protestantism being the only right way and that Catholics worship Mary and are bounded by Rome. But I was invited to a Christmas Mass December of last year and fell in love with the history and traditions of the Catholic Church. I found a lot of Protestantism is driven by hate and misinformation. I could have never envisioned myself becoming a Catholic. Yet, by the grace of God, here I am.
  • I became Catholic in 2020 and have never looked back. I’m a former non denominational Protestant who used to be saying that Catholics pray to dead saints. I know better now. Since being Catholic, I have gotten a deeper understanding of God and Christ. I’m not ever going to apologize for being Catholic.

The Catholic faith is beautiful. So glad I converted
  • I was recently confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church and I give thanks to God for guiding me to his church. I love Mass and am in peace. Thank you God for everything.
  • I was an evangelical until the age of 51. I love my Catholic faith and would never go back.

I grew up in the Baptist Church, and I converted this past Easter vigil. It honestly is so annoying and heartbreaking the amount of hate Protestants, especially evangelicals, give to Catholicism. I grew up hearing misconceptions of the Catholic Church but didn’t always pay much attention to them, and it’s only now that I’m Catholic do I see that absolute vitriol that many Protestants have. I will always love and respect my Baptist roots, but I will also defend the ancient Church. I’m so glad this woman found discernment, praise the Mighty Living God.

I've noticed that people who leave the Catholic church do so because they are angry about the demands of the faith and often want to do something sinful that the church decrys. People who come into the Catholic church do so out of love and awesome joy at the truths of the church. After 50 years as a Protestant I am overjoyed to find the true Church!
  • After studying Church history and reading the Bible I came back to Catholicism following years of atheism and exploring other faiths. I'm here to stay. Hello from the Russian Greek Catholic Church.

Catholicism is so family, loving, logical and reasonable. I am so grateful to God for keeping me in His Holy Catholic Church.
  • Love this. I was anti Catholic up until April of this year, watching James White, and other ant-Catholics and by God's grace I'm planning on Coverting this next year Lord willing! Once I let go of my bitterness toward the church I was drawn right in to the beauty and truth. And this channel has been a huge blessing along the way, thank you Brian. I ask for prayers for my family who are not planning on converting that they also may see the beauty and truth! God bless.

A protestant-became-catholic mostly ends up loving God more. Catholicism is the truth. Thank you Bryan for your channel. I always imagine you being the commander of an army who lifts up everyone's spirit before a battle.

Catholic cradle Became a 'Christian' Tried to smash a few statues, threw away my Rosaries At work a woman was dying , no one could find her Rosary. I ended up buying cheap plastic Rosaries so that we wouldn't have the issue again. Started looking into The Rosary history. Returned to The Catholic Church. 12 months later I was blessed to be able to pray the Rosary with both my parents as they died within 4 months of each other. Have consecrated myself to Our Lady and St Joseph. And am constantly buying and giving away Rosaries. Many to non Catholic Christians, and always with a pamphlet on how to pray The Rosary. God uses our past to improve our future
  • Ex-evangelicals are always thankful. Ex-Catholics are always bitter.
  • When I became Catholic I realized this is the real deal. Saints are real. The power of God is with this church. Knowing Jesus is with you at confession and adoration you can feel it. So glad I'm not non denominational Christian anymore.

Im exMormon and have no roots in evangelical Christianity but my mom and sister took that path after leaving the silliness of mormonism and my mom is at the hatred level of antiCatholocism. I hope someday she has a similar conversion to the true faith. Your testimony amd story was inspiring, thank you!

I was brought up Catholic and began to study it more intently to answer my Protestant and Jewish (and eventually my Muslim and Hindu friends). But the more I studied the more God’s Grace put fire in me to love him more and love studying his word and creation more. I love Christ and I love his Church - the Catholic Church
