A Former Protestant’s Journey to the Catholic Church.

Joshua Charles is one of the rising stars of the Millennial generation. A bestselling author, historian, researcher, and international speaker, he is a passionate defender of America’s Founding Principles, Judeo-Christian civilization, and the Catholic faith, to which he converted in 2018. He loves telling, and helping others tell, great stories that communicate great truths.

I was protestant growing up and then I became an atheist because Christianity seemed stupid as a seventh day Adventist teenager. I have come back to Christ and decided to be diligent with what denomination I would choose and Catholicism one with zero difficulty. I can’t wait to join the church Easter of 2025. Pray for me.

Former Protestant here, and a brief inquirer into Orthodoxy as well. I attended my first Mass last Sunday and am looking forward to attending my second tomorrow. Jesus Christ be praised!
  • Happy to have left Protestantism for the true Apostolic Church. Glory to Jesus Christ!

Famous Cardinal Newman quote. : “To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant.” He was a convert from Anglicanism.

My soon 21 year old son and I converted from protestant to catholic last October after learning the truth about the Eucharist and getting to know our church priest Father John. All glory be with our Lord God King Jesus! May God's grace bestow upon all of you, reading this. Shalom ❤

I love being catholic, lots of people try to preach Protestantism to me but I’ve been watching lots of Catholicism videos and has really helped me understand my faith and to defend my faith. Thank you

As bad as the internet is sometimes…YouTube has become a major catechetical battleship for many Catholics now. So many lamp stands have been lit…so many beautiful Protestants have come home..God is good and wondrous in his mystery! I thank God each time a Protestant challenges my faith..I grow in the fire so much more 🔥 Deo Gratis

This is a tremendous apologetic summation of why Catholicism is the only answer when Christianity is the question. Well done Mr. Charles.

Oh my goodness!! I was on the RCIA team who brought your father into the Church!! He spoke about you a lot and very fondly. I’m so happy to hear your story ❤ say hi to Don for me!

I wish more Protestants would read about the lives of the saints. I think it would seriously help to dismantle people’s negative opinions about the Catholic Church. Hearing the Catholic faith from the mouths of the saints breaks your heart open and it was one the things that solidify the Church’s legitimacy for me.

Misunderstanding from Protestants about Catholics is like a badly divorced couple with children. The children keep hearing one-sided accusations and blaming from the scorned mother and very soon it becomes ingrained in their minds that their father is really horrible and completely at fault without even knowing all the facts and truth from the father.

  • Love my faith, has change my life 1992 I lost my daughter 17 years It was like a storm passed through our lives I lost sense of time and my other 4 children suffered because they lost a sister and their mother. When home to PuertoRico and it happened I found the Catholic Church ❤Time passed and lost another daughter 48 years but I was stronger and My husband came to the faith at70 years old When we lost Iris our third child 😢It was very hard but this time we have our faith and a community that help us through the pain We suffered and struggle but My husband and I are proud to a catholic and talking to our children about the Faith ❤
  • Such a shame my loved ones that left the Catholic Church will not watch this and Joe Herschmeyer. If they could ever listen with an open mind perhaps they could find Christ's true one holy Catholic and apostolic Church, we know today as the Roman Catholic Church.
