to all small youtubers - we got this just keep going, be consistent and you will get those 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours. Remember that should not be your goal, that should only be your first checkpoint. After that the fun starts. 🚀

Great Video. Finally somebody who explains what to look for and why and not just throwing around opinions. This is so helpful!
  • That was a wonderful video. Well laid out, clear and concise. Probably the best, subtle ad, you could create for your courses. Thank you.
  • I just wanted to tell you that your "Content Creator" 14 day course is the BEST bang for the buck. I've purchased TONS of classes, and courses. Your style is quick, concise and what a great price. I appreciate that you get right to the point in your videos and don't blabber on like so many people do. Thank you for your continued great content.

This was amazing! Ive been struggling hard to edit and figure everything out lately and this video gave me so much clarification. Would love to buy the course as it sounds very helpful but I got a new mac to go buy.

Honestly this is one of the best channels I've found for entry-level creative tech advice. A lot of these principles get transferred over to graphic design, etc. I currently have an ancient build that I'm trying to upgrade, and being out of the loop for so long as it's consequences. I cannot tell you how often I've come back to this video and your channel to check that I'm doing things right. Your videos are so good!
  • I was trying to get a laptop to edit on the go and stumbled across this video. Very helpful, thank you!

This answered every question I’ve been thinking about for the last few days. Thank you for laying things out so clearly

I had to chuckle when you mentioned staying with the system you're most used to. I recently tried a Studio Max after nothing but PCs since the 90s and I just don't like the Mac OS. My custom-built PCs have always lasted over 5 years with few or no issues. It was upgrade time and the Studio was only $1500 at Costco so I figured why not give it a try. Already got my custom PC on order. I go custom at a local shop so I know each component is quality and I can see it working before it leaves the store. Win 10 Pro.
  • Honestly after watching tons of breakdown/ build videos, yours is by far the most concise/easiest to understand. Thank you

Thank you so much for the unconfusing information. Will be checking into your 14 day program.
  • I'm at 1:14 min of this video and loved everything so far, especially with what he said about "If you love PC or Mac, stay with that....", his introduction, presentation, his editing, and audio...perfect!! I'll be your student for sure. Thank you!!!
  • Just the info I needed. I really appreciate your concise, clear communication style, Anthony. I'm taking your 14 Day Filmmaker course with my 14 year old niece. We're both loving it. We're also doing the DSLR Shooter course about our camera -a G85. Between the two, we're learning so much -and looking forward to shooting a project together when we're done. It has been really special to learn and practice with my niece. Thank you!

Thanks bro for this knowledge. I’ve been editing with an iPad Pro since I began editing. I use Lumafusion but I’ve reached a point whereas an iPad just doesn’t cut it with editing long 4k videos. So it’s time I upgrade and since I love apple I’m thinking MacBook is the way to go.👍🏻

The video I’ve been looking for! Super formative and I gain so many takeaways from this video! Thank you thank you!
  • This video is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I was thinking of doing your course as well as I’ve seen it advertised and I’m definitely gonna sign up as this video impressed me so much. Thank you 😊
  • Amazing content Anthony, I like watching your videos not because of the topics but because of the high quality visuals and messaging you use (I always learn something new). Congratulations and thank you for the value offered in the 14 days filmmaker course. Keep it up, man!
  • Very clear and linear. I especially appreciated the quantitative context. A further argument for using a laptop in a desktop environment is that you won't need a UPS. A sudden power outage can lose you an hour's hard work on your big iron. Laptops run primarily off of battery power. When you mention Xeon processors, you should also advise that these devices incur additional overhead. They may require ECC RAM and a professional version of Windows. This can obliterate the cost savings of building your own or buying bare metal.
