The very fact that Batman and Spider-Man are constantly fighting for the Number 1 spot goes to show that they are the kings of the Superhero genre. Even after another character has that boast in popularity due to a movie, they always rise back up to the top.

I grew up in north Florida, a very diverse place, and the most popular superhero by far was Spiderman. All the kids went as Spiderman for Halloween. Spiderman lunch boxes and backpacks and everything else. No matter the race, religion, or creed, Spiderman was always loved by all. I think he is the superhero who was written in a way that allows everyone to relate to him and see themselves in him. To this day, he is my favorite, along with Berry Allen. Those two are so fun to watch and read about.

Spider-Man is relatable because he is a regular person who gains superpowers rather than being born with them. His alter ego, Peter Parker is a teenager or young adult struggling with everyday problems like school, work, and relationships, which makes him more relatable to readers. One more thing that certainly helps is Spider-Man’s inclusion in a wide variety of media, from movies to games, which currently makes him the most googled superhero in 2023..❤❤ even 2023 spiderman is most famous superhero

I love how spiderman was a solo player even in comics, so see him single handedly defeating dc and marvel together is just amazing

Tobey McGuire's Spider-Man theme still pops in my head now and again. I was 10 yrs old seeing it in theatres. The DCAU Batman, Kevin Conroy was my Batman. The JL and JLU series are the best of the best on TV. Batman is a Legend, McGuire's Spider-Man is eternal and defined my generation.
