Venezuela crisis: Many struggling to feed themselves

Man im so grateful. Im also so spoiled, mom gives me everything i need.

If the government cared about their country, they would have seen how over time the country has fallen into despair and they would step down and let somone else have a shot at reviving the country. The fact that they don't speaks volumes.

This is why real Americans will never give up their guns.

When humans run out of food and are starving no government can stand long.

Good move madam marrable...plant more food around the house.

For anyone wondering why no one has provided food aid the situation is complicated. UN, nations and other NGOs or association cannot bypass the government/customs to simply drop food. Venezula has from time and time again denied any food shortage and problems. Therefore, they will not accept and allow anyone to just come in and drop food since that would be saying 'yep, under my leadership, my people are starving.'  There are very limited food supplies that are 'normal' as in- not controlled by th hands of the government but they are in short supply thus why people line up for hours to collect food at very costy prices. Some that falls into the hands of those working in the black markets jack up the prices too to make money. The government will not allow any foreign intervention or NGO( they are hated anyways) to take over or control or do anything with the food supply since you control economy and you control food supply- you control the people. The people always suffer and pay so heavily. I recently sent some medicine to Venezula organisations and I can only hope that it will arrive safe and sound. I want to send food but can't and videos like this hurts me..because as a global citizen, to watch on helplessly this manmade famine is shocking and heartbreaking. Stay strong Venezuelans ....please stay strong.

Hydrocarbon methane ethan gasoline is not a food that is eaten, if u avoiding agriculture, u r future generation will do begging for food. first save nature.

Watching that guy looking for food at the trash, it broke my heart, I wish everythings gonna be okay someday.

They broke into the house, locked the family in the bathroom, and took everything. smh If only these people would've had a way to defend themselves. I'm thankful for the 2A!

stuff like this makes me angry that people bash the USA so much. sure we're not perfect, but other countries have it on much worse.

In many cities in North America, people can't afford rent. not so great here either.
