I'm convinced that Randy Moss had an affect on the Dallas Cowboys taking Cee Dee Lamb in this recent draft. Jerry Jones saw Lamb still on the board, and while WR wasn't necessarily a need for them, Jones was like, "I will not make this mistake twice"

aired in 2011, that explains why the Butt Fumble is not on the list.
  • Funny thing about the #2 game- Dallas never lost again and Miami never won again after that game that year.

It’s a tradition for me to watch this every year around Thanksgiving. Thank you Issac for having it
  • Thank you Isaac Green! This channel has been a Godsend during times when I need to take a break from the Covid Quarantine craziness. 😀
  • OJ was killing it in that game. Stabbing and slashing his way through the defense.

As a college football fan, thanksgiving football is just an appetizer for rivalry Saturday

Bears vs. Lions 1977. Walter Payton, a week after his 275 yards vs. Vikings, scores on a 75 yard pass from Bob Avellini.

I don't know why people complain about the Cowboys and Lions always being on Thanksgiving when they added a 3rd game open up to any team.
  • @StrawmanYouTube
"It was only 3 catches, it wasnt that prolific of a day." Yeah...... 163 yards and 3tds.... he kinda shredded them.

The Longley episode is very unique indeed. I believe this story goes beyond the NFL. A man who bounced around and never found a steady NFL career, Raising eyebrows from Cowboy nation on that amazing Thanksgiving comeback, had interesting conflicts with Staubach and later Fouts, no doubt. Tried to make it in Canada before returning to the Cardinals. The world needs to know more about this man and his story.

  • What was so demoralizing about the Leon Lett loss was that Dallas was coming off a 27-14 stinker to the Falcons, which, when coupled with their opening season pair of losses, dropped them to 7-4, a record everyone knew was beneath them. They weren't in danger of missing the playoffs with this record, but they had to wait 10 days (!) to erase the stink of the Miami defeat and probably needed to run the table to take the division. I had to go for a walk after Lett's debacle.
  • OMG at 17:03 the bleed through on the VCR combined a talking face & a Packers player’s butt. The butt is talking. Priceless. 😀 thank yo

One interesting note I just discovered after doing some digging. Of all the teams to play on Thanksgiving in the Super Bowl era, only 14 have played on Thanksgiving and played in the SB in the same season. Of the 14, only 6 have won the Super Bowl (every Cowboys championship team except 1977, 1969 Chiefs, 1973 Dolphins). And 1969 was the only time you had both eventual SB teams playing on Thanksgiving (Chiefs, Vikings; they didn't play each other on Thanksgiving btw).
  • Love you got the Bob Trumpy call on the Lett play.."It's Leon Lett-NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
  • @beeemm2578
Moss, coupled with that Cunningham Howitzer, was just devastating. I remember that season vividly.
  • @wessimons5028
The fact that Randy Moss and his game in 98 is number 9 is criminal
