Dave Krieg vs. Dan Fouts 1985. 825 passing yards, 10-1 touchdown interception ratio, 84 combined points in 1985.
  • Jared Goff vs Patrick Mahomes definitely is on this list. That Monday Night game in 2018 was a nuclear explosion of Offense

As a packers fan, even tho we lost that was one of the most amazing and greatest games I’ve ever watched between Rodgers and Warner. I also love love LOVE irony. The way that game ended was to me the greatest irony in nfl history. In a game in offensive fireworks where neither offense could be slowed down, that the defense is what won the game for the cardinals at the end. I still get shivers thinking about it. As a packers fan yes it was heartbreaking, as a football fan? IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!

Manning vs. Young, 1998. A coming out party for Peyton and a vintage comeback for Steve Young. It doesn't get much better than that.

Saw the Namath Unitas duel as a child. Never seen another duel,as great, with aging lions in one last battle.

If this list gets updated, 2015 “Duel at the Dome” Eli Manning and Drew Brees needs to be on the list.
  • @phantompinoy
Brady vs Delhomme most under rated quarterback duels
  • @formulahank1250
I remember watching that Broncos/Cowboys game live. It was absolutely epic

I saw O'Brien vs. Marino on TV as it happened as a 8 year old Jets fan and remember thinking then I'm not sure if I'll ever see anything as amazing like that again. Here almost 35 years later great to see it's legendary status still holds up. Contrary to popular belief not all Jets memories all bad ones.

SB XIII w Bradshaw and Staubach was not only a classic duel and for the championship of that season as well as team of the 70s, it turned out that game may have been for the best dynasty of all time, or close to it.

I think we may have to put Mahomes vs Allen in the 2021 AFC Divisional Playoff on an updated version of this list. HOLY BLEEP what a game.
  • @Shinobi33
Marino vs Bledsoe in '94 was something else. As a Dolfan Bledsoe always made me nervous. He could go off at any time
  • Bernie Kosar would never be recognized by all the so-called geniuses who comment on the NFL as an excellent professional QB for a time, but he was very young and he masterfully guided Cleveland those years. The Browns lost 3/3 AFC title games to Cleveland in the 80s, and it’s a shame that the only name we still talk about from then is Elway. If BK and the Browns had managed to win just one of those two in 1986 and 1987, and they really should’ve won that second one, we NFL fans would regard Bernie in a better way than we do now...but just because they lost all those games to Denver doesn’t mean Bernie should be forgotten. Guy is a Competitor. Was a nice backup for Troy Aikman in Dallas, after his Cleveland days were over too...

Seeing Ed Too Tall Jones at 30:47 triggered lots of fun memories. Dallas and Pittsburgh had two of the most physical defenses of the time. Loved watching those games.
  • How could you not at least give honorable mention to the Epic in Miami between the Dolphins and the then San Diego Chargers? Both Dan Fouts and Don Strock, the latter off the bench no less, each threw for over 400 yards in the game. Of course that was one of the craziest games ever, with the hook and lateral by the Dolphins, blown field goals, including not one but two blocked kicks, and an incredible effort by Kellen Winslow for the victorious Chargers. Unforgettable to say the least.
  • The list must be reviewed and revised, to include Goff v Mahomes 2019 duel
  • I like that they have Young vs. Kelly from 1992 on the list.. and it's where it belongs at 10. BUT.. what should've been at least mentioned for 10 seconds.. was that the 2 QB's also had the greatest QB duel of all time in the USFL. Opening day 1985.. Kelly's Houston Gamblers at Young's Los Angeles Express in the L.A. Coliseum. Unfortunately for the USFL and their half-a$$ TV deal, the game wasn't televised live by ESPN or ABC. Kelly threw for 574 yards which is still the most in a single game of any pro football league. People can rip on the USFL all they want, that's fine.. but it had a good number of quality players who still speak highly of it to this day. They just didn't like the cheap owners. Some things never change.

Mahomes and Allen just had the greatest Quarterback Duel of all time.
  • @Lawomenshoops
1984 LA Coliseum- Houston Gamblers vs the LA Express. Jim Kelly vs Steve Young! What great QB duel!! But, since that was the USFL, a NFL Films Top 10, would not include that game! But, if you saw that game, it was awesome!!
