I've not played Minecraft properly in 10 Years. The version I took my time with was when horses were new, back in 2013. So Let's Play Minecraft again

I've now made this a series! You can watch my entire Minecraft Let's Play in order here:    • RTGame Minecraft Let's Play

There was a time on Youtube where everyone uploaded Minecraft Let's Plays, but creators moved on to heavily modded scenarios or large multiplayer servers. I feel like it's been a long time since a creator sat down and experienced Minecraft for what it is, without the need for some elaborate set dressing. So that's what I wanted to do. Since it's been a over 10 years since I played Minecraft normally, I thought that might offer a unique perspective that anyone who hasn't played in a while can resonate with. I've done many Minecraft streams and videos on my channel, but these have been massive multiplayer build scenarios or events. I grew up watching older Minecraft playthroughs like the Yogscast.

If you enjoy this video, I recommend that you boot up Minecraft and play it again, especially if you haven't in a while. Thank you!

This is one of my favourite videos we've ever made. It's been an absolute joy and adventure to rediscover Minecraft in my recent streams, and I hope everyone enjoys the full condensed playthrough here. Massive thank you to my editor Cloe as ever on this

That guy who mentioned the fletching table just after Dan got bad omen knew EXACTLY what he was doing
  • @Colossus-64
The first thing that Dan did when he heard an eerie noise is grab the bucket. I guess the Stanley Parable still lives within him.
  • I absolutely love how Dan has been playing the game. - He took the time to build a house and surrounding area that he liked - He almost always walks, only running if there’s a specific reason to - He’s the only one I’ve ever watched to actually read the end credits poem I’ve watched a million and one minecraft let’s plays, and in the era of speedrunning and Hermitcraft, nothing seems more innovative and exciting to me than just seeing someone take it slow. And if that someone is Rumble Tumble Game, then all the better.
  • What makes RT so special is how he combines the strengths of streaming with the charm of old-school YouTube. He's truly at the top of his... Game.

The start of the raid was just perfection. 1. Walks into the village as normal, not noticing the raid bar yet. 2. Villagers frantically ringing the bell interrupts him trying to give Frank the fletching table. 3. The horn interrupts him again and alerts him that something is very wrong. 4. Finally notices the raid bar - "Wait why does it say raid?"

i love that rt moves into the village at first planning on fixing it and making it more liveable for the villagers and then a day later half the population are buried alive
  • i seriously cannot get over the insane luck dan had in this run. especially after he found the hollow mountain. i mean the fortress being RIGHT THERE in the nether, how he got the perfect horse just walking outside after he mentioned maybe wanting to get one, finding the treasure and the portal room that quickly, AND how he found an allay at the watchtower when they’re rare af!!!!! incredible haha!

Dan playing up the "I did some mining off camera" joke and then logging in to proudly show his lovely stables and decorations to the wizard tower was a great showing of the inherent itch to keep building JUST a little more
  • @iClone101
I love how Dan seemed so confident that chat was trolling him about the tall grass, when in reality it's one of the rarest items because you can only obtain it from savanna village chests.

The sudden mood change at 45:05 is hilarious It's like he's making an art piece and everyone's just watching attentively then he puts down acacia wood and people start throwing tomatos at him
  • My favourite part was probably building the wizard house. It was so tranquil, no tricks or techniques, and it's genuinely a lovely place to live. Props to you Dan. Truly a Build King.

The village arc was beautiful. The place we thought Dan would never revisit, ended up being his toughest battleground. The place we thought would burn out in the fires of hatred, ended up warmly embracing him even in toughest times. And the one we thought would be the antithesis to the savior, ended up joining hands with him to end it all. Long live Frank.

There’s something so wholesome about RT just genuinely playing Minecraft because he just felt like it. It’s not some twisted challenge, not a big ironic joke, he just wanted to play some good old fashioned Minecraft, and that kind of stuff is just really fun to watch.

My heart goes out to the genius who baited Dan into the village while he had Bad Omen
  • @lurosie5813
“and the universe said I love you because you are love” makes me cry every time fr
  • @MTN6516
This is probably gonna go unnoticed, but holy shit, good work by Cloe on the building the tower montage. It felt magical in that way a first playthrough can feel. And good job to RT for actually building a good base, something I have yet to accomplish in my nearly 9 years of playing
  • @isickell8714
I love how the only thing to ever fall for RT's door trap was RT himself
  • @onesinglebumbum
The best way I can describe this video is with a Dutch word my dad taught me which is Gezelligheid. It’s a word that doesn’t have an English translation and it means that something feels homely and relaxing. Like coming home after a long trip.

I barely comment on anything because I generally don't like publicly posting things online, but after like five years of not saying anything on this website, I'm making an exception. I finished watching this video yesterday. A week before today, my only close friend told me he doesn't want to associate with me anymore, and i've struggled to take a restful break without thinking about him. I went to take a walk, went to a café, drove to a big city and went to a museum and got ice cream with my family, played my cello, and tried to do so many things to get myself to rest. And yet the only thing that made me truly feel calm the way he used to and made me stop thinking about him (without me trying to suppress my thoughts) was this silly little minecraft video. When I realized that last night, my face was just stuck in a permanent smile for a while :D I cry a lot so this doesn't say much, but I ended up crying tears of joy after you finished reading the end poem. It's as if that got me to finally believe that I'll be fine without him in a while 🥹 and the universe said i love you and the universe said you have played the game well and the universe said everything you need is within you and the universe said you are stronger than you know and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you and the universe said the light you seek is within you and the universe said you are not alone There's probably no way Dan is going to read this, but I've been subscribed for years. While going through some of the toughest periods of my life, I've had your videos to fall back on and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for making content that makes me feel this way ❤
