Freakin' every time I watch animal documentaries it's like "This animal is so majestic in the wild...but their numbers are rapidly declining due to human activities"

4:10 "and they LOVE magic!" You ... uh ... just gonna drop that in and move right on like it doesn't need any explanation?

Here are some facts that Animalogic didn't cover: 1. Orangutans share 97% if our DNA. 2. They spend up to a third of their life as a child. 3. They cannot swim that well. 4. They are the only great ape to live in asia. 5. They can mimic human behaviour (a skill which makes them learn better). 6. They have very strong lips which prevents them from eating anything bad. 7. They can be taught various tasks, like cleaning. 8. They make the biggest nest in the world. 9. There are programs like The Orangutan Project that are helping these magnificent creatures and preventing them from going extinct. Just thought I'd share my knowledge.

In Indonesia, orang means human, hutan means forrest. Orangutans literally translated to human of the forrest

Every time I see an orangutan I think of King Louie of the Jungle Book cartoon movie.

"The Orangutan is one of our closest relatives. So why are we pushing them to extinction?" Sibling rivalry?

  • @Marshal_Dunnik
(speaking in Dutch) "What should we call this ape?" "Well, it's orange, and kinda looks like us, so..." "...orange man?" "Bingo."
