Playing a game of chess in a quiet room sounds like every players dream instead of a nightmare
-
1:23 Anna has now made history as the first person to ever lose a game of chess in an anechoic chamber 😂
-
I like these new creative videos of Anna's. Push on, explore and experiment! And the game wasn't bad either!
-
I've been in an anechoic chamber. The weirdness comes from the fact that usually you hear your own voice both through your ears and through your skull (bone conduction), but in an aneochoic chamber the first effect is suppressed, no sound comes back to your ear, so your own voice sounds "muted" to you, which is really disturbing.

This scenario would be the Botesz sisters worst nightmare 😂
-
Anna keeps coming up with weird places to play chess, and random Finnish guys keep accepting her challenge
-
Looking at his eyes, I think Arne has spent some time in that room
-
I have worked in an electrically quiet room, used in my case to test aerials for satellites. The room is electrically quiet because it is covered in prisms made of carbon loaded foam. The secondary effect is that the room is acoustically quiet as well. I found the room more creepy when I was there alone, after a time you could hear your own heartbeat.
-
Now they're called Annachoic chambers 😹
-
This is definitely one of the most unique chess content videos I've seen so far... I would love to be in one of those quiet rooms by myself for at least a few minutes to see what it's like, but I feel like if I was in there with someone else I would be really self-conscious about how they might hear me swallowing or my stomach growling or something like that. I don't know if I could focus on a chess game in there!
-
Your voice over during the game was amazing, I felt myself in a silent room. Can't wait to see the other videos from your roadtrip! 😊
-
I'm impressed by the confidence level in your stomach. If I get too stressed out, my stomach might get tied in knots and start making noises through the whole game
-
I really liked this video, 1st because of the environment and 2nd because it was easy to understand the logic of the moves each one of you guys played! Excellent video!
-
Anna! Great video! Aside from the usual great edits, this was an original idea and the video kept me interested and engaged the whole time. BUT, more than anything I thought your verbal explanations of the moves and the course of the game were simply fantastic and universal for so many levels of players. GREAT Job!
-
Great video! I love how your videos are and not just playing chess only but more about the experiences.
-
This playing chess in unusual places could really blow-up for Anna. Imagine seeing Anna play chess in a swimming pool underwater in scuba gear, near a volcano caldera such as Askja. on a Merry-go-round or Ferris wheel, on the Great Wall of China, top of the Eiffel tower just to name a few. The possibilities are endless.😆

3:47 When you've eaten too many tacos 3 hours ago but you're in the middle of an interview

Love your work Anna, great editing and story telling, proud of you!
-
This is an incredible video! Amazingly well done! Love the storytelling and format. And your editor deserves a raise! Much love and congrats on such an awesome video!

I loved this video soo much >< the story telling, editing, and stupid jokes were so entertaining 🤣 Also the 2:58 move with pushing the pawn was so educational to me, I feel like my chess knowledge leveled up from 4 to 5 (out of 100 💀
