Cavetown is the only artist that perfectly executes any emotion. Amazing.

I'm digging the more upbeat direction Cavetowns more recent songs are taking, while still honouring the darkness and struggle of the past with a melancholic undercurrent.

Cavetown… My boyfriend loves your music, he’s been listening to it for years and he recently attended one of your concerts with his best friend in the Netherlands. Last night in the hospital (he’s finally receiving his top surgery today) he listened to your music on Spotify and told me there was something magical about listening to you in that hospital room. After he managed to fall asleep, eight minutes past midnight, I opened Spotify just to discover that you released this song on the day he’s been dreaming of for such a long time. The world is truly beautiful sometimes. 💕 (I posted updates in the comments section!)

We can all agree that cavetown can never make a bad song

I think this is the first song that truly pushes Cavetown’s chest voice. We’re seeing new confidence from him that we haven’t seen since before his voice dropped. I’m so excited to see what he does next!

seeing the comments and seeing people who, like me, grew up with cavetown's music makes me so emotional for some reason. all the comments about loving cavetown's songs makes me feel like its 2018 again. seeing all the strangers i practically grew up beside, connected while never really knowing any of them its just.... augh. hi cavetown fans. i love you all. ive never been a diehard cavetown fan, but even still his music (and community, despite never being part of any "fandom" sides of it. just observing from afar) has had such an impact on me. hello, nostalgia!

No warning. Just casually dropping one random day one of the best songs I've ever listened to. Straight up. I'm still in shock. Okay Robbie. Okay. (And I love the line "Sorry, I'm a little insane when I'm lonely". It sounds soooo good and I'm sure many of us can relate to it.)

Around 0:31 the guitar and drums feel like heartbeats, like you’re just realizing they’re in the room, or you’re trying to get the courage to speak to them. It’s not that often I find a song that kinda gives me butterflies(that’s she best way to describe it, it just portrays the feeling so perfectly) and I love it sm😭

How does robbie always manage to drop songs that comfort me during difficult times its like the songs express emotions that i dont know how to describe or get out and just listening to his songs make things so much less confusing

as someone who has been there since early 2018, I love to see how Robbie can change styles and every song he creates is still so pure and addictive, and matches his vibe so well. he is so talented<333 love u forever Robbie
