Usually people doesnt finish mmo games BUT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE
  • Glad to see that not only your project is growing but also this channel, shows that with a bit of time you are creating a player base :)
  • @Gnomable

Ketchup Mayo! 😂 ahhh! this was such a fun video! Can’t believe it’s been a year already 😮 Dane you’ve done an amazing job, so proud of you! Can’t wait to see where Noia will be in one year from now 🎉

Amazing, steady progress! As of late videos where programmers talk about their projects are just so fun and motivating for me when I work on my own projects. I'm currently creating my own Ebook library, and I've already gotten to the point where it's usable! I wish you good luck in your future endeavours!

Sautéed mushrooms, Swiss, and mayo. Amazing video! Absolutely love a lot of the points you've made, and I will deffinately be rewatching this to help me with my own projects! I never played the game you got the text idea from, but absolutely love it! Reminds me slightly of the keyword system Mabinogi has, which is a huge personal inspiration for me.

  • @BrunoHsdc
In Brazilian portuguese, the word "noia" means quite literally "a drug addict". Other than that, your game is absolutely fabulous!
  • @cubmolo
Wow this video is well done Dane! You explain things so carefully and thoughtfully and I’m entertained throughout!
  • @alteria3246

hey man just wanted to say that the video quality is amazing and the information is also extremely good. From a pure video perspective, everything is entertaining to watch, and you've struck a great balance between going into detail about what you did while not overexplaining on things. From a content perspective, as someone who has been interested in game dev and learned a bit about it here and there for the past 5 years or so but never committed to actually learning enough to make my own game, you've given me a lot of inspiration that other game dev YouTubers haven't. Your transparency about how much money you spent on it, as well as the steps that you took to make sure you stayed productive are the practical stuff I needed to hear. I've been recently considering trying once again to take the plunge into learning game dev, and I think you might've given me the push I need. So thanks a lot dude, and I hope your channel and game continue to grow and be successful. Easy sub and notis for me.
  • @ArmouredSP
I know these things require a lot of time but it still manages to shock me every time how much time it really needs.
  • Thanks for putting in the effort of making the dev log! Love watching these.
  • Great video! Super awesome to hear about your journey and your shortcomings and achievements! Look forward to hearing from you more! And pickles are pretty awesome..
  • @zonnap
I absolutely love the almost paper Mario turning of the character! Also I'm a huge fan of enemies that do the telegraphing, it allows you to have some pretty nuts encounters lol. Looks great overall!
  • @ProgrammingCat
i watch many devlogs looking for ideas and inspiration, and your videos are amazing, they inspire and gave me a ton of ideas, you deserve a sub!
