The Roman-Persian Wars were a tragedy with tragic consequences, including loss of life, devastation, economic strain, and cultural decline. If the the Roman and Persian empires had better relations how could the world be today? Perhaps they could have enjoyed enhanced trade, prosperity, cultural exchange, regional stability, and the potential for alliances against common threats. A man can dream.
