Just a quick thought on death and butterflies, I think the association is that butterflies start out as wormlike caterpillars, go into a dormant state, and then are reborn as a winged creature, much as some people see the the soul as earthbound during life and then being freed to take flight after death.

You know The Mythology Guy should do a video/short on the H. P. Lovecraft (Cthulhu Mythos) Books. Though that’s only if he wants to. Since the books are in the public domain he could even add some of the monsters from the books to his card game. Also big fan of The Mythology Guy :)

Now that’s hilarious! PS Does Hilda: The Series count as a mythology adaptation? I know it’s got a contemporary setting but that’s true for Harry Potter and Percy Jackson too. I would like to see Hilda covered on this channel if possible.
