Second Video is now out where we try to make it to Missoula:
   • Bikepacking -Tekoa to Missoula 2022

Finally finished the full Cross Washington Mountain Bike Route (XWA) video and hope you all enjoy it.
Total mileage from La Push to Tekoa was 730 miles and it took us 12 days if you consider the first and last days were half days. We had an awesome time and totally recommend this route. Just be ready for steep climbing and singletrack, so pack light and have fun!

If you all are interested in the actual route we rode you can check it out here:

Just remember when doing the XWA, download the latest route from Troy (link below) and do not use our route as it's just for information purposes only.

Thanks again to Troy for developing this amazing route!

Loved this video, nice work!! This route is now on my list
  • Hope you all enjoy this video! We decided to go back to a longer format video and not break the adventure into multiple videos. Curious if you all prefer it this way?
  • Great work! Temperatures looked brutal, you two had some tough hard days for sure.
  • Loved this. Can’t remember the last time I watched a YouTube video this long. Really great footage and enjoy your narration!

I would say you 2 are lucky to have these adventures, but I know all too well these things don't happen by accident. It takes a tremendous amount of planning and preperation to do these rides. You have my attention and respect.
  • What a great movie. We (Michelle and I) miss to see you guys around and riding with us like the old days. Enjoy your adventures and we hope to see you soon. H&Michelle

Fun trip and great video. It is obvious that it takes a lot of effort and love to create such quality content, so thank you and keep them coming!
  • Thank you for taking the time to create this video and share with us, it’s awesome!
  • Thank you for making this video! I’d been curious about this route for a few years and it provided a lot of great information for me.
  • Great video. Thanks for sharing such a great documentary of the route. Rest comfortably knowing the high route is much more spectacular than the low route and well worth the extra effort.
  • Great video and thanks for sharing! I like the longer format versions. It’s nice to see the full adventure in one series. I did not realize how varied the environment was is Washington. It look like some tough terrain made more difficult with high temps. Congratulations!
  • Just what I needed inspiration to get out on my bike. Longer the better for me on your videos. Keep up the good work. 🚴🚴🚴
  • This was a great and informative video! I’m thinking of doing this in 2024 and I have watched a couple other videos on this route but yours has been the most informative. Thank you!
