Love that Ashfur confided in his sister and had her to cry on her shoulder here, wish that he would have had someone help him to get over being rejected in the canon. The part with Sparkpelt hearing and seeing the lark singing was touching and cleverly well done, but I can't help but wishing that the two cats would have gone back further in time and stopped Larksong from eating the mouse that had poisoned him, or had gotten the dandelion root and gave it to him earlier so that he would be saved. Final note, the memes let again 😅 My favorite one in particular was the Oakheart one.

Ashfur watched sorrowfully as Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw(at the moment) nuzzled each other. I will have my revenge! He thought angrily. Suddenly a bundle of black fur rolled near the nursery. "Ferncloud!" Ashfur piped up concern for his sister. "What is it Ashfur?" She asked. Maybe I should tell her... Ashfur pondered. "Squirrelflight doesn't love me." He murmured. Ferncloud frowned, a smile then plastered on her face as she rested her head on Ashfur's shoulder. "It's okay.." The black and smoky black cat with twigs in their fur smiled, a portal appeared behind them. 3. Sparkpelt looked down at a feather sadly, Larksong... She thought.
