In this video, I do my morning animal chores on the farm and introduce each one of my precious animals: Alpacas, goats, miniature donkeys, piggies, dogs, ducks, geese, cows, chickens, bunny and a Lucy Pig. Along the way, I give some tips I've learned over the years as well on keeping them.

Thanks for watching!

MORE ABOUT ME

I'm Anne of All Trades. In NASHVILLE, I have a woodworking, blacksmithing and fabrication shop, a selection of furry friends, and an organic farm. Whether you've got the knowledge, tools, time or space to do the things you've always wanted to do, everything is "figureoutable."

I became "Anne of All Trades" out of necessity. With no background in farming or making things, I wanted to learn to raise my own food, fix things when they break and build the things I need.

8 years ago I got my first pet, planted my first seed and picked up my first tool.

My goal is to learn and share traditional techniques and skills while showing my peers how to get from where they are to where they want to go, how to do the things they are passionate about, and what can be done TODAY to engage their own community and grow deep roots.

Whether it's carving spoons, making my own hand tools, restoring my antique truck or growing heirloom tomatoes, the farm and workshop definitely keep me busy and support - whether financially through Patreon, through shopping my affiliate links, through buying merchandise, plans or project videos, or even just liking, commenting, and sharing my content with others helps me GREATLY to keep producing quality content to share.

  • Anne, Thank you for the tour of all your animals on your farm. I am so impressed that you remember all their names. They must take up so much of your daily waking hours too.

Perfect names for the Alpacas 😂 "George is somewhere over there" That was so fitting. (He's my favorite Beatle)
  • Great video production Anne and Adam, love the tour and all the animals. Wonderful to see you and them all so happy and healthy.

We had artisan growing up. Flow went to a giant bathtub, pump from the bathtub to the house with overflow to the pond. BEST water ever. AND we never were without water when we were without power. Many times we went with buckets and kettles to the water tank
  • Love love your animal's names. Keep the name Butter. It's perfect. Your videos are both informative and entertaining.
  • I love your videos! I started watching you five years ago for the woodworking and now also for the homesteading!
  • @Xassaw
I just happened upon your video and I am enjoying it so far. You got me to thinking about how to keep the hawks away from your chickens though, because I have the same problem. And it just occurred to me that putting up fake owls might be a solution so I googled it and sure enough, according to Google fake owls will help keep your chickens safe. I wish I would have thought of it for myself a few years ago but it might help both of us now. We had two jerseys that were nearly identical to yours and their names or cinnamon and honey respectively. Keep up the good work.
  • I just found your channel after you did a collab with Goldshaw Farms. You talk to your animals the way I talk to mine and its so satisfying.
